I think that's the reason why most of the Indian actresses on itv are not able to do some bold scenes or try something in this sphere too.

Biggest example is Nia Sharma.... She was bashed for doing intimate and bold scene and still gets a lot of hate comments just beacuse people can't see her in diff picture as she did jamai raja... Bas bichari bahu ke roop Mei dekhna haii

I don't necessarily think it's a matter of doing bold scenes alone. There are plenty of actresses who have done risqué scenes and are still well appreciated.

I feel like people mostly have a problem with Nia's off screen personality and the way she presents herself.

I dont follow Nia that much so really don't know about her off screen personality ...but I remember some comments from twisted 2...when she was doing some intimate scene and there was lot of comments saying that

"Yeh seedhi bahu banke show karti hain but in real she is so shameless ...aise scene kaun karta hai " and blah blah... Shit like that.... And it really disturbs
