virat has also never blamed sai for making him choose between his family and her all the time. he might have said it once in misery that she is responsible for everything but acually never meant it. he tried his best to deal with the situations thrown at him and made best possible decisions he is capable of.

it is destiny that both of them have fallen for each other, but what if they did not fall in love and struck in loveless marriage? they still would have taken responsibility of their actions.

but i don’t see pakhi doing that. she blames everyone else for her condition. she blames sai for virat not loving her anymore, blames virat for being struck in a marriage with samrat. what about taking responsibility of her actions? did she not in all her senses marry. forget about getting married, why even now she is in chavan nivas running behind virat when he has clearly moved on? what is stopping her to move to her parents place, find the job that she wanted and get a grip on her life. this is where she fails to generate empathy in me.

Isnt the reason that sai and virat are in much better space than her,isn't the reason that sai amd virat are growing with their relationship and happy with eachother.

This is pakhis journey where she will realise that she has lost everything in her delusion and that's when she will be able to make a right or informed choice.

Right now looking at her character,her behaviour and actions are Are very much in sync with her her basic characterization.

just because she is not happy, does she expect all the world to cry with her? is everyone other than herself responsible for her actions? and why would any self respecting woman go back of a person who clearly stated that he has no feelings for her except that of a friend and his brother’s wife. why is she back of him all the time reminding him of his vaada when she can clearly see that he has moved on with his wife? she has parents who love her to ends and would support her in a any decision. she shuts them off when they try to reason with her. and also she has support of matriarch of chavan family. my question is again the same, what is stopping her to get a grip on her life?

I am really intrigued to know how everyone feels about pakhi character after I watched a dream sequence in a segment.

Do you guys think we would dislike Pakhi character less if she was not the real life partner of Virat character?

Do you guys think subconsciously we think Pakhi character goes home with Virat in real life and not Sai and it upsets us?

I know we all say it’s reel vs real - we know the difference and give explanations. Today after watching the segment I felt probably if virpakhi (not sure of the ship name) was not real life couple we would have been less critical of Pakhi actress?

When I watched the segment all I was thinking was f* sake he is your brother in law get off him woman🤬🤪😢

And thought should create a poll in forum to discuss Since it’s a long weekend and people might be vetti like me 🤣🤣🤣

I dislike the character Pakhi for all the reasons mentioned by you. But it is not because of the real life relationship with Neil. Neil is a good person and I was really happy for him when the engagement news came. It is high time that he gets settled. Yes initially I was little worried that his real life status might affect the romantic scenes in the serial but this week's episodes have proved that it is not true. He is really very professional and comfortable also with Ayesha.

And I also feel that the extra Virat Pakhi scenes that we get also only show the real nature of the character Pakhi to Virat. I completely ignore all the interviews that Aishwarya gives with or without Neil. So I cannot comment on that.

U r right if he would have told truth,samrat may be heartbroken,sad.but it would have less than 1% compared to the pain samrat is in right now.

Though I understood virat at that by looking at his family,his emotions but the fact is he made a very wrong choice for pakhi,samrat and himself.

Similarly samrat made a wrong choice by just leaving everything without even thinking abkut his mom and family.

Pakhi has also made so many wrong choices as we discussed on length already.

Sai has made so many wrong choice to agree to marry a guy who told her someone is in my life,now by eloping devi tai with pulkit.

So right now these 4 are in present situation due to the wrong choices made by 4 of them.

More or less , everyone is responsible for present situation.

@bold Yes I agree. Life is full of choices we make and we have to live through the consequences. Here I want to talk about Pakhi and choices she made.

she was asked for consent for marriage many times by samrat, she agreed, chose to lie to herself and him and tried to move on from Virat.

We don’t know if she would have really moved on if Virat didn’t come for the wedding. There are too many scenarios with ifs and buts. Let’s leave all that.

She comes from a loving and understanding family. Her father discouraged her to go ahead with the wedding and asked her to call it off. But still she went ahead to be close to Virat. It was her conscious decision she made based on Virat’s wadha? I don’t think so. It was her last attempt to stay close to Virat by hook or crook.

I would have agreed she married samrat because of Virat pleas if she didn’t block Virat’s number in an impulse. She comes across as a person who is vain and impulsive. My way or highway types.

She doesn’t take responsibility for her actions and plays victim all the time which pisses me off.

All four characters here are not perfect, they make mistakes and that’s the beauty of it.

When we try to resolve an issue in IT we do a root cause analysis for the problem. Here in Ghum world the root cause is Pakhi IMO.

Usha and others have pushed Sai into that marriage.

She had held Virat responsible for her father's murder.

So it isn't her fault.

Hey I think you have read my post out of context. I was talking about Pakhi here and not Sai. IF doesn’t allow us to quote more than one post. Can you please check back the post?

I do agree Sai’s marriage was circumstantial and without Sai’s full consent.

During the initial episodes, I was so much into analyzing her character.. like why she did, what she did, reasons behind her actions etc.

Slowly, it turned from being 'sympathetic towards her' to 'disliking her' to 'hating her' to trying to 'understand what she wants to convey'(coz yes, I can't decode her expressions no matter how much I try) to 'laugh at her' to 'ignore her' to 'suddenly realize that oh she exists, whenever I see her onscreen'.

Phew!
