So basically the makers failed to do their research before writing dialogues.

This they didn’t show it. But what was shown was kaku was clearly against it whether it was her own chaheetha initiating it.

Virat won't let Tai elope with Pulkit! He can get her married because he's biologically and legally related to Devi but Sai isn't. According to them it's a deal marriage and Sai actually don't have that right to interfere in his family activities.

Virat atleast would have convinced Kaku and Family for marriage and obviously Kaku won't file a case against Virat but she can against Sai

Yes she was against it that why she asked pakhi to stop virat .

Just talking about the legal aspects keeping with theme of this thread. Virat did say to Sai that since they are of age they can get married without getting consent from elders, he compared it to saiRats marriage.

but it’s not the same with Devi involved.

Makers should do some basic research.

then kaku neednet have done all this kidnapping and letter stuff. She could have directly arrested Pulkit for marrying her mentally unstable daughter without her consent.

I am not even talking about the plot. All I am saying is whoever does it without her mother’s permission is at fault legally. Be it ML or FL. Currently it’s the FL eloping, so kaku can get marriage invalidated if they are going to be legally correct in the show.

This is what bothering me the most. One doctor and one medical student are trying to cure a mental disease with marriage🤦‍♀️. Hope makers have some sense to show the effects of events on Devyanis health.
