not jealous of salman singing either ...but i dont like the mentality of people who consider these actors as GOD but consider the singers as something lessor ...this is Indian mentality because singers are considered playback only .....besides india singers are on par with actors across the world ....its bad luck for indian singers

Stars for sure.... In bollywood/India a singer can never outsmart the actors popularity which is sad....because they are so typed cast that this singer voice suite this actor face.... People here affiliate the singer actor duo.. While these actors consider themselves as a superior creature... Salman and amir statements are on record... According to them its the actor face which are used in songs and that's why these songs become popular what royalty these singers are asking for ...They don't respect the playback aspect too... For them these singers are just vocal instruments...salman khan in 2013 after his issue with Sonu Nigam on royalty stance said that singing is an easy job i can croon for myself I don't need sonu nigam or any playback singer to sing for me ... The playback aspect of bollywood never let singer grow and become as big as these actors... And sadly bollywood cover the 90 percent of music in india... Those who are singing in bollywood are the only one considered as singers

We can like it or dislike it but fact is a fact. Singers in India are smaller stars than Indian actors and star cricket players.

Salman is dumb and arrogant but in reality people do associate film songs with who was on screen. They sell the songs. There is a reason these singers independently didn't earn a lot of acclaim for their non-movie songs. It's starting to change slowly with YouTube since singers are becoming faces of their own songs and reaching a larger number of audience.

Why is that some of these actor lyp songs are hits and some are flops... Every song pictureized on these actors should have been a hit.. . Their has to be something in song, lyrics, rendition... And for that matter people forget the movie in a long run its only film songs which stays for a long period of time.... But yeah this playback thing didn't let singers to find a market for themselves that's why singers in india are treated as second grade stars compare to actor or cricketer that is because they are not separate entity.... music is associated with film which is why an actor enjoy the popularity of a song and singers who are singing it get less acknowledgement.... In late 90s indipop music was as big as bollywood... Sonu's bijuriya song from mausam album is his biggest song in his concert which is a indipop non film song... And his Dewana album was the highest selling pop album which saved T series from getting bankrupted... .. but the indipop couldn't survived for a long run... Artist like falguni, aryans, Sonu, alisha, shaan were lucky enough to create their independent identity for quite sometime but their destination was the only playback singing this is what they ended up with lol.... Singing is the only art in india which didn't got its due because the film, cast, actors overshadowed it.....
