No.. it's not irrelevant.. Salman is richie rich.. so is Shahrukh.. so is Amir.. they can make a handsome amount with just endorsements but do they stop striving to offer new and work hard? No.. they don't use nostalgia for their benefit.. they strive to do more.. and they brush themselves up and try again after failure.. while Sonu is still singing the songs from 1988

Salman is good ...but Sonu is more talented in term of stage presence this is what my point was .....but in india singers will always be considered as 2nd grade citizen....
before the advent of autotuners ...these singers saved these actors so much imagine if these actors were made to sing their own songs ...like they do in west....this is how "aate jaate jo milta hai" would have sounded
