Did Ileana have potential to be a top star?

I thought she would make it big when I saw her on barfi

I like Illeana... she was very promising in Barfi and had all the qualities to make it big. She can act and is gorgeous ...I don't know what held her back either!

Her biggest films after her debut Phata Posta & Happy Ending both floped unexpectedly

And She never got a second chance. while others gets many e.g Deepika, got chances after chances

I wish she had made it. I like her acting and she is one of the prettiest actresses. She was my favorite part of Barfi

Of course she had the potential. She has the gorgeous looks, acting talent and she seems so nice and fun! But in showbiz, that's never enough. you also have to have: luck or whatever you wanna call it "be in the right place at the right time".

Although her Bollywood debut in Barfi was lovely, I still thought she didn't deserve the Best Debut award not to mention Supporting Actress nominations. I'd have given it to Yami Gautan for Vicky Donor. Huma Qureshi was also very good that year. It's crazy how Alia Bhatt also debuted in 2012 and was last in the race but now she's 10,0000 miles ahead of them all.

And OMG next year will mark 10 YEARS since they all debuted 😵

I could have never imagine that Alia could end up being Big Star in Bollywood and Ileana, Qureshi, The younger Chopra and the other girl from Cocktail would end up in frustrated careers
