Kaamwali still dependant financially there are many women who belong to a well to do family,who themselves are something earning still they chose to stay some becoz of their maternal home pressures,some becoz of their children....I am not saying ki they don't have self respect...I am saying ki as a society we are at the point ki now it even not remained a matter of self respect it is now considered as advantage or as I said a luxury which some can pursue...And That movie shown in all how after marriage a women's own pehchan identity loses and she didn't even realize it...that movie is not about slap...I told na every dialogue of that movie has something hard hitting if not all but showing many thing happening around us all the time and how Amrita start to realize the things she ignored before...with time she lost,her dreams,her identity lost and what she got in return compromise....

Women do make a lot of sacrifices, mostly for their children. They suffer so their children wouldn't have to. Some might even put up with the abuse as long as her kid is not harmed.

its a sensitive subject and we who are not in that position yet will not know

Our society is still backward. We can say we are becoming more progressive but showing lip lock scenes and "bold" content in OTT does not make us progressive AT All

Divorce, the word Sex, period is still a taboo here.

No idea how many years will it take for us to move forward.

We are the next generation. Will we atleast be able to make the change or will we succumb to the standard morals that was taught by the society.

Agree..People i have seen are mostly parents keeping it together for their children.

I have been seeing Anupama for the past couple of days and i really love it. Rajan shahi may be a cringy director but he captures the emotions really well i must say.

1. He never pulled rank with Riddhima like his family. After the first time he showed her the room, he never taunted her for being poor/middle-class.

2. He never sl*t-shamed Riddhima.

3. The guy is not a womanizer. I loved how he turned his face away when Neha came close to him while dancing in epi 1.

He is better than others male characters of the show but still I can't forget the revenge track sr.

I find that serial shallow & my judgement is based on original one.😆

Children thing is always not true. Here I've seen enough young women who is okay with shit for loweeee only.

@b-Bingo....

The whole point is ki calling out an abuser as abuser is still not allowed in our society becoz of many reasons,how society here works,its judgemental attitude,its not landing helping hand to a struggling women intead what we say kichad uchalna is done,,collective thinking of people,how society takes children of divorced women,all the struggles they had to face somewhere binding them to the man who tortures,jhooti shaan of maa baap of some,than illiteracy,high financial dependance of women...and many more we can go on and on yaar...

@b2-I want to be truthful amd the bitter truth is it doesn't seem so,not to me atleast....actually we are now in the phase where women are going out and earning but I guess being equual rights and what we say breathe in free air still seems a long road to me...and than as I said to Akanksha also if we can't change atleast we can choose individually how we want to live and work hard for that...

I have seen some worst. Some of the woman's husband doesn't work mostly and beat their wives and those womans work as house maids for their family and still does not say anythings to their husbands.
