Actually I always feel women are more responsible than men for the atrocities which we as gender tolerate in this society.

Women's are the ones in college,I have seen female professors are more interested in watching what a gjrl is wearing with whom she is talking now they are still educated women consider about uneducated...

This leviation that men get na on women's of being a property, samaan is becoz most of the time surrounding women also support them...they don't show unity...

I am not taking away account of men its just as a gender women need to stand with other one rather than passing judgement...atleast if can't do much speak,help....

You know, for me it was not about the slap and the respect. It was about the aftermath

I saw a video of a reporter asking who the movie was from people coming out of the theatre, and everyone were like why would she leave after just a slap..Because it happens in this society.

For me, it was a big What IF movie..What if he had apologised, what if he had understood what he had done. That slap was not a mistake in my opinion, even if done in a heat of the moment.

When it comes to the women, while some are able to leave, while some can't afford that luxury.

That's why i said the kamwali didi's dialogues were spot on.

While amrita could leave, the maid could not. But she dealt with it the best way she could. Does that mean she lost her self respect. No.

Yeah and I don't think we are anywhere near to be in a better condition as society...requires a lot of work...🤔

Yeah I agree with you but thats the whole point na ki as a society we are made to a point ki even leaving an abuser is considered or taken as luxury which some can afford and some can't..

Kaamwali still dependant financially there are many women who belong to a well to do family, who themselves are something earning still they chose to stay some becoz of their maternal home pressures, some becoz of their children....I am not saying ki they don't have self respect...I am saying ki as a society we are at the point ki now it even not remained a matter of self respect it is now considered as advantage or as I said a luxury which some can pursue...And That movie shown in all how after marriage a women's own pehchan identity loses and she didn't even realize it...that movie is not about slap...I told na every dialogue of that movie has something hard hitting if not all but showing many thing happening around us all the time and how Amrita start to realize the things she ignored before...with time she lost, her dreams, her identity lost and what she got in return compromise....

Actually I used to be angry that why KS like movies are being made and than during one of her interviews regarding thappad tapsee asked same question amd she outrightly said aap log dkhna band kar do banani band ho jayengi and I was like yeah she is right more than such movies are being made, problem is these movies entering in super duper hit club even after being a remake both times....👏I seriously need to applaud hypocricy which people here commonly carries.....

P.S.I am not a tapsee fan...I don't believe in fanship...😆

did not watch thappad but i know the concept and its 👏. Its not about just one thappad it's about the abuse and humiliation associated with it.

That didi was right in her place. But problem is lot of woman have that 'luxury' still Okay with the abuse. I've seen enough. They think May be one day their love will change them. & these people normalize these things & encourage other to do the same.
