Member topic: Have you ever been madly in love with someone?

What happens when you fall madly, irrationally, and passionately in love with someone? When u feel like you have lost control over your senses and just want to be with that person, even if it seems impossible? Have you ever fallen in such kind of crazy love?

You know, this kind of love is described in movies and books often. It's like one foregoes all sense of propriety and rationality, and it's happened to my friend, that's why I made this topic. Can't disclose any details, but it's the sort of love which makes her seem like a different person.

Love of this nature should only be encouraged if the one who is at the receiving end reciprocates wholly.

I don't think the feeling you described is actually love.. It's more of an attraction. When you are attracted to someone you feel all these intense butterflies in stomach kinda feeling they describe in movies and books. It's like when you have a crush on someone and you can't stop thinking about them and being around them make your heart beat faster.. I think it's a funky feeling and almost everyone has felt it.

Love on the other hand is a much deeper and subdued emotion.
