I agree that he wields much more power and influence than her and she can't react in a negative way even if she might have found it creepy. But it also looks really presumptuous and unfair to put AB on a blast like this just cuz he's old and said wow. Blurred lines, I guess.

When something is creepy, even a Hi will make you shudder though ... their eye contact, smirk, body language and the way they impose themselves give away their intentions and our instincts immediately register them as creepy and a threat.

On the other end of the spectrum are people who attribute everything to racism, sexism, and other forms of bigotry. One of the reasons people followed Peterson is behavior like that of the supposedly transgender woman who went to Asian-run salons, asking for bikini waxes. When the women there refused to touch her male plumbing (still present), she sued them. IIRC, Candian government sided with the transwoman. Most people, most women can see how unfair this is.

That said, I don't agree with the alpha male nonsense spouted here. AB is old enough to know the clout he wields and how a young actress might be worried about pushing back if she is uncomfortable. I have a hard time believing he doesn't understand his own power or the meaning of appropriate behavior. If a senior executive at my hospital said wow to me with reference to my appearance, I'd be very uncomfortable, and I'm not without power, either.

Nor am I buying the old man argument. Age doesn't give you the license to be a creep.

That transgender person has apparently lost the case and forced to pay $6,000 to each of the three women who lost their jobs in the salon. The British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal threw her case out.
