Even if they turn a blind eye to it initially, they would have to mention it otherwise how are they suppose to stick to the basic storyline the show is based on.
Plus, if we think about it, we can actually get a lot of meaningful conversations and angst between these scenes. There is a huge ...I repeat HUGE scope for romance too.
They can even cover the orthodox mentality of family too. Alok and Parjaiji can get there screen space. Tez can play the cupid. Gayatri can start her own business or take up a job. Kanchan can study further.
ACP will fit in too with the legal matters .
