Is there a leap in near future?

Could there potentially be a leap in the near future? Post Adi bringing Malini back and the Holi episodes?

Adi said in the farewell scene; it’s not the last time he’d see Imlie; he said one day he’d see her in his newspaper; and if she calls - he’d definitely come.

He also remembered her asking him to take her interview when she becomes a big officer...

Is that an indication that the separation track will show a leap and take us into the future after Imlie has completed her studies and has become a big “officer”?

nahi. He was just being emotional. For Malini Imlie asked him to go back and because of her wish he was being strong for her.

Usually leap happens wen no story left or thy need a major change...

Here the story is in nice pace and plenty is left. So no chance i guess...
