Sonam Kapoor will play Hrithik's Juliet
Bollywood's upcoming actress Sonam Kapoor will play Hrithik Roshan's Juliet in her upcoming film.
Her superb performance in Saawariya had caught the eye of Yashraj Film and they instantly signed Sonam for the film which is being inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Hrithik is going to play the role of Romeo. The film will be directed by Pradeep Sarkar who had hit the box office with Parineeta starred Saif and Vidya Balan.
Yashraj had signed Sonam after her film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shahrukh Khan been shelved. After giving her rave performance in Saawariya, Sonam is flooded with offers. She has also been cast opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Dilli 6. Sonam had also been offered to play Hrithik's leading lady in Kites but she turned down the offer as the script demands excessive bold scenes. Now, she is again cast opposite the modern day Akbar, Hrithik Roshan.
