Released two days ago but it has a Punjabi artist and we know that the whole of Punjab is probably streaming it day in and out. But let give you a lyric of the song in English cos it Punjabi. Yeah I saw that it had huge numbers. TBH, it's not really a competition...in that the fact is, ours was so popular so quickly that everyone has noticed, and numbers may not be the same, but look at the promotion and buzz we're getting. I think the team is very happy (and should be!) at the reactions. And like you said, different platform, different artist, plus that show must have way more fans/followers given it's on SP and been on so long...so all in all no wonder. But OMG at those lyrics 🤔 At least ours is a real song that people are loving for itself regardless of who's in it.

Agreed. It didn’t even feature in the top 10 list that BP did. Also our song is bloody soulful. If the devil possessed our babies and made them do a song with awful lyrics like that I would have to watch it on mute and play DI over it. I couldn’t listen to lyrics like that even for my babies on loop. The label is extremely happy it seems it’s one of their best performing videos already lol.

Honestly a couple of days before I got so nervous...like, what if the song is rubbish? What if the video is tacky (they would NEVER, but irrational fears, you know)? What if I hate it or don't feel anything? What if it sinks with the fans? How will I defend it if it's crap?😆

I shouldn't have been worried. Our babies would never choose a project that didn't speak to them, and therefore wouldn't speak to us. They picked the right song, with the right story, and they made it their own. And somehow it gave us the salve for the wounds we'd had inflicted on us (not by them). All in all, it was, as Madhuri would say, perrrrrrrfect 🧿🖤🧿

I honestly like even if I try cannot imagine them in a kakkar video. Maybe a mile ho tum humko bade naseboo se. But that was for a movie so I don’t count that as a kakkar song. Lol.

I just love the 90’s feel the song has and the lyrics are so meaningful which unfortunately is rare with all the music out there. Babies came through and Madhuri would say perfeecttt then after would seethi maro 😎 🖤🧿🖤🧿
