Chandu has actually expressed in the past that she really admires Jenny for doing Maya and would love to have the opportunity to play something of the sort.

Jenny's really broken the mould on that one. I mean, if you think about it, none of the ITV MLs - as toxic as they are - are as bad as Maya. She's a legit killer, a psycho. Men playing that role would be playing the villain, not the hero.

But Jenny's aura and charm is such that not only does she headline those shows, but despite her character's craziness, people actually root for Maya. It's amazing. I'm in awe.
