My thoughts was on similiar lines

But the Kiara mandap leaving shot of her hatredness was stemming from something that happened to earlier

So like she was left at the mandap by DV bro and did not turn up as he was already married

and DV had to marry Rajeshwari

so RaniSa father's angle did not come in my thoughts

I felt Kumud husband would have gone missing or would have died to some "Veer Pratap" (courageous and glory) work done

Knowing what happened earlier DV would have kept quiet of Veer and Kumud as his bro's family so as not to open old wounds again, and looks more logical as DV-Rajeshwari married under pressure on spot, so the illegt angle given to Veer looked ok from DV point to Rajeshwari while bringing Veer home

Veer's name could be compounded because Pratap always as some name before like Rudra Pratap .....

DVs brother married against the wishes of the family. So everyone hates khumud. But because of veer the father tried to reconnect with the family.

When ranisa's father found out, he tried to stop them from coming back (because he wanted his daughter to have all the power.)

Veers father died because of ranisa's father. Before death he had DV promise him to give veer his birth right.

But if ranisa's father find out that the wife and child are alive he will hurt them. So DV told everyone that all 3 died.

Latter he brought them to his house under the disguise of illegitimate child and his care taker. 😭

Oh did I tell you, ranisa is responsible for giving away veers family information to her father and is indirectly responsible for his death.

Anyway whatever the storyline is it makes more sense than DV cheating. First khumud doesn't seem to be the one to give up her child just so he could be royal. There has to be a better reason. Second a man cheats on his wife in a moment of weakness. Means he was not on good terms with her. Just can't imagine a man who was not in good terms with his wife tolerate this much abuse from her afterwards.

DV and cheating is odd

See the way he respects his mom or even his wife and even with Rani earlier or with Nandu and all even with Veer and Vikram

The kids are more like DV a bit silent and more like Rajmata

they have all kept tight lipped on Veer roots (daddy dear)

some odd scene he does behave like Rajeshwari (Diwali diya scene of Rani before marriage)

even when Vik accused him of not being a good dad, he never opened his mouth Rajmata had to give a stern warning to Vik and once DV left Rajmata was her cool self with Vik and made him understand the other part of now knowing the truth

I want Veer dad gone missing for long and reappears somewhere very late maybe 500th episode ( No No No to Fahmaan double role)

Like someone in one of the post wanted to know more of Rani's mom, that too would be nice to see Rani recollect her mother and her words (but here too No No No to Megha double role)

the equation for handling a family like that would really have a nice script line for VeeRani

In the court hearing, Vikram referred to Veer as Veer Pratap Singh Rajawat and to himself as Vikram Singh Rajawat.

It’s just a middle name. Pratap, Kumar, etc are all common middle names. Veer has one middle name and two last names “Singh Rajawat”. Singh can also be tied to his caste itself sometimes.

Vikram’s full name is Vikram Pratap Singh Rajawat from one of the earlier episodes.

I too think that Veer isn't DV's biological son, but why would they reveal something like that through his name?! Legally, he is adopted by DV and Rajeshwari. So his full name must include DV. People usually say their first and last names only when they introduce themselves, that's why I thought he has a compound name Veer Pratap. I don't know about Indians, but It is common where I live for someone to have 2 names combined together.

I also think this theory of DV not being the real father is possible. But it has nothing to do with the name.

Megha and Fahmaan really act well
