That's because SAAKK is not high on drama quotient, the focus is on leads and even now when the focus is being distributed they are choosing to focus on Aastha and Shaan. The writing here is crisp and they finish the tracks without dragging. It's a quality show with decent TRPs at the moment and it will continue to garner only moderate TRPs only as long as it doesn't fall drastically we don't have to worry

The guy is not aware that he's in "love".

Like he can't put a name to the feelings yet. He just knows that he likes her.

His feels are simple as of now - he wants her around , he wants to be liked by her, he wants to take care of her, he wants to get her attention: He simply just wants her around in a good way.

Also, as Shaan said "Shaurya ko kabhi koi pasand hi nahi aati, ek Shagun thi bass".

Shaurya is not like a flirt or anything. He also dosen't interact with many girls, just like Anokhi dosen't interact with a lot guys. Both are kind of noobs , just that Shaurya atleast has shown interest in someone. But neither have experienced love ir even seen it around them. Literally , there is not even a single love couple around them except for Shaan Astha, who ended up in the most horrible way.

How is Shaurya supposed to understand he's in love when he has never seen it? Im not saying he dosen't know it exists. But he did tell Devi once ,that muje pyaar nahi hota. That's what it is.

Guy dosen't understand love.

He's not dropping hints intentionally at all. He is just not able to control what he is saying. He knows what Kanchan is saying, but its only teasing and he feels he cannot love.

It will take time. 😆

I think this is the first time Shaurya has witnessed someone's struggle to get something as basic as education, I mean he comes from a place of privilege and hasn't had the opportunity to see or be exposed to ground realities. Education is something his own siblings take for granted.

Secondly, as a teacher he is able to see her potential and does not want that brilliance to go waste, it also helps that he did not meet Anokhi as a prospective bride because then the conditions would have been there from day 1. Since he is already falling for her and taking pride in her work these two things are going to synchronise gradually like he would want all of Anokhi including her dreams

He has also seen that though Anokhi has left home she still longs for her father's affection, this might help him see that it's not the choice that is wrong but to actually place these women be it Anokhi or Aastha to choose in itself is wrong! I hope this is something we get to see here I went and read the description/blurb of the original and regional versions none of them actually focus on their differing ideologies Mohor's simply talks about professor and student being at loggerheads and falling in love, the tamil, telugu, malayalam versions talk about the FL's studies, dreams and ML's mom hate while only the marathi version mentions the ML hating ambitious women. So SAAK is the only version pitting the ideologies against each other and it was once again highlighted in today's episode I am sure makers have a plan on how to proceed with this because like Ash said he is not going to outright make demands for her to quit her education or career but getting there to reach that acceptance is going to be a beautiful journey because Shaurya wanted a life partner who would prioritise him, even with Shagun it was all about his demands and his wants but with Anokhi there is no "me" its like just be here with me that's enough.

This is so beautiful Vaish!! Everything so perfectly put!!! I also really hope that they don't brush it under the rug and properly show the conflicting ideologies and how they disagree about it because of their own places of trauma.

@bold That was something I always wondered about Shaurya. With Shagun he said he wanted someone that would prioritize him and I wondered if he would extend the same favor. If he wanted his S/O to make him center of the universe, would he do the same. With Shagun he definitely wouldn't have but with Anokhi, he will prioritize her the same way he wants to be prioritized. It's just a matter of how his understanding of what it means to prioritize changes. It doesn't have to mean completely forgoing one's identity for the sake of the other.

Another random thought I'm having now is that this wasn't the first time Anokhi has said she'd be okay leaving SIAC. She was willing to leave it when it came to her respect, she was willing to leave it when Aastha was missing, and she was willing to leave now after he disrespected her. When he made her promise today not to ever threaten to leave again, though it was just in reference to this incident, I couldn't help but think of the other times she was willing to prioritize something else over SIAC, even though she knew how hard she worked to get there!!
