Really… His parents are going through divorce. He can see his father so upset and sad. His mother is leaving him and going again… And all he cares for is Anokhi. No way I can tolerate such story. I would love to see his heart pining for his mother. His pain for his parents love. I don’t know why the rush for the love story that too between a teacher and a student. It should be gradual process. Not like this. Shaurya does not like ACP touching Anokhi. But he does the same. Shaurya’s priority should be his parents and love story should happen in the gradual natural way. I am not liking this hush hush..

I think he is hurt but his main priority is to apologize for the nasty words he said to someone for which she is leaving an entire city and education.

He confronted his dad on divorce and asked if that's what he wants and his dad really didn't answer or just said brushed it aside. He comes from a family where his parents have separated for 25 yrs so i guess in that situation, does a divorce really change anything? in this kahani, he holds his mom as the villian so thinks it's best they cut off the ties all together, he has no idea abt the other side bc he has been fed ill thoughts abt his mom.

Not defending him but if i were to go through the situation, i think id also think the divorce makes no diff bc they have been separated for 25 yrs and have never even met until Anokhi came along...i think the divorce will actually bring them closer. In this case, think the divorce track will be handled after Anokhi track. Also, he emotes and doesn't really share his feelings. He was very sad to know his parents are divorcing but its a sticky situation ..

I found it very odd how Shaurya ignored Aasthas presence in the car scene. Not that I expected anything since relationship is still fragmented Maybe he’s ashamed or embarrassed for what he said to Aastha esrliee or he’s trying to cover up his feelings for Anokhi. But either way, it just seemed a bit odd. It was also odd for her to not have said anything but Aastha has generally tried to avoid instigating him and usually is quiet unless she sees something going wrong. I guess the CVs are trying to settle a “score” here since Shaan neglected Shaurya and always thought about Aastha first. Likewise Shaurya is also prioritizing Anokhi and his apology/changing feelings etc. Romantic love over familial love. Like father, like son.

I am kind of surprised at how Aastha has no concern for what Shaurya said to Anokhi. It seems like Anokhi shared the exact same words verbatim with her that day. But then again- she may have lost the right to say anything to him in since she was not around for 25 years. But they could have shown some concern via her internal thoughts or emotional expressions. Maybe they’re trying to portray her as supportive of Shaurya since that is fan mandate.

As for love story. Sort of lost hope now for things to be gradual. I don’t think either one is love but the sudden flashbacks from Anokhi was a bit odd. But Shaurya also had his first set of flashbacks when he realized he was shifting to Patiala SIAC. So maybe they’re trying to show how they will miss each other’s presence 24-7 lol. It’s not like either one was going that far away - just Kapurthala and Patiala, not far far away like London 😆

Shaurya's parents have never been his priority. Maybe he cared for his Dad a bit but not for his mom. On Tuesday, when Shaan shows the Saberwals the divorce papers, Shaurya asked his Dad if the latter is fine. Initially, I thought he didn't like the idea of divorce, but then I realized it was just genuine care for his Dad who he knew loves Aastha a lot and would never divorce her. The only time he actually felt something other than anger for Aastha was the night of his birthday when she went missing. That was guilt, not love. I don't see why he would/should get affected by the divorce. Shaan and Aastha were separated for 25 years. Everyone including Shaurya thinks their relationship has no hope left.

Currently, he is developing feelings for Anokhi. For Anokhi he has a sense of protectiveness, care, jealousy, possessiveness, guilt and a tad bit of anger. He has not felt such conflicted emotions for anyone. So when she is leaving, he doesn't like it. He wants to make her his priority. Maybe I agree his life shouldn't revolve around her, but I don't agree with his parents being his priority over her. When they signed the divorce papers, they didn't even talk about him because they knew he would be unaffected which he is. So if we blame Shaurya for being unaffected, why not blame Shaan and Aastha for being incognizant of his views when signing the papers?

In the initial episodes we have seen how much Shaurya longs for and misses Aastha and vice versa. Therefore their lack of concern for each other in the recent episodes is a bit odd. Shaan is totally lost case, so it's no use talking about him. Aastha should have asked Shaan if Shaurya was happy with the divorce. She should be bothered about the despicable things he said to Anokhi, and now his sudden desperation to get Anokhi back to SIAC. But we don't get any such things perhaps CVs don't want to give so much footage to Aastha. However, they are showing Shaan and Aastha busy in rekindling their old love which should have waited for some time in my opinion. They are parents first and lovers later and it should be shown that way otherwise people (the handful who still support them) will lose connect to them.

Similarly Shaurya still considers Aastha as his mother, not Devi (credit goes to Devi, she never made him forget his real mother). So knowing that his mother will no longer be his father's wife, and neither of them are happy about it, he should be a little more affected than what has been shown.

The mother-son relationship for me is one of the USPs of the show, but it has been kept on the backburner to move the love story ahead perhaps under the pressure for TRPs.

He has always been v upset with his mom, if you rem in the earlier episodes he went to get the paper to call devi his mom signed by astha. He feels she abandoned him. He loves her but that is hidden behind alot of anger and pain.

Rather than him making them priority, they should make him priority, not defending shaurya, but having kids myself , i know how sensitive a lil boys mind is and when he is abandoned and told by others that his mom left him and didnt even turn back and look even when he was hospitalised.. imagine how he will grow up.. so sorry no love or sympathy for either astha or shaan.. they should now instead try and explain shaurya and show him the true picture.. slowly .

as for anokhi, for the 1st time i guess he feels strongly for someone , i dont think he did for shagun, and his issue with strong feelings is he cannot express, and ends up holding that person tight so that they also dont leave him..

he has abandonment issues.. and thats why i feel he reacts the way he reacts

His parents aren’t bothered about him, why should he.

He’s hurt by his parents. He’s moving on as he feels. I don’t think there’s anything wrong in it. The trio might heal later on but it’s not a priority like Shaurya was for them for 25 years.

I can say here is that she still trusts Shaurya to take care of Anokhi. Some bitter words of his reflected his thinking and Astha's wish could be to change it but she cannot talk to him.

By view of it 🤣 I forget that Anokhi has no relationship with Shaan and Astha.. She seems like their daughter and Shaurya as stranger.

@TM - great post!

I was soooo hoping that Shaurya would understand his own feelings for Anokhi when Shaan would describe his pain of separation... He might have felt same for Anokhi and he would willingly help Astha. But khair... He has his own life to set..

And on the lighter note seems like CVs are trying to show

Shaurya would be like.. I am 30!! It's my turn to set love story and marry!!! Screw old parents of mine... Let me go and stop my chance at love. 🤣

I do hope to see an emotional breakdown from Shaurya atleast when they get married again secretly.... With Anokhi by his side this time, maybe he will be more open and accepting towards Shaan's needs and happiness...

Astha had willingly told Shaurya, she will respect his decision to be away and lesser mother than he expects... But someday Shaurya will need to initiate the conversation... He was never seen speaking to Astha at all after that apology, which is sad... But Anokhi is definitely a link. The only way two of them will come closer might be for Anokhi... I don't want Anokhi to suffer but if she lands up into hospital.. Both of them would be there to support each other and maybe Shaurya may overcome his indifference towards Astha.
