I have watched some of the episodes of season 1 of JCPH1 now and then and I absolutely loved it. Waise toh I loved the season 1 more than season 2 of JCPH series. From cast to comedy everything was good in JCPH1. Waise it is better if the previous ML of JCPH was retained rather than bringing a new ML since I liked the previous ML of JCPH. Abhi tak I haven't any single episode of JCPH2.
I asked same thing here long back and Raj said Nikhil was doing his Zee TV when casting of Jijaji2 was going on. I did not watch but I know it was very good and popular. Edit2 is good with comedy. Or there may be some other issue. Even in Edit2's another show May I Come In Madam Sandeep Anand was replaced with Rajesh Kumar. I don't mind you are anyone liking Season 1 more than Season 2 but this 2.5 rating is not justified which others too agree here. Other Telly sites gave it 3, 3.5 or even 4 and only this one gave such a low rating. Also she was reviewing a show then why she has to compare with previous season. It was like some season 1 fan reviewing it. And her comparing 2 MLs was also ridiculous as if old ML who was newbie was excellent from Day 1. He would have surely improved with time. So it was not fair to compare an actor who played ML in 552 episodes to the one who just completed 10 episodes.

No it has comedy is majority scenes. Even some horror scenes looks like comedy. That's why this reviewer didi wrote the horror element is not too scary. Didi bhool gayi ye horror comedy hai Aahat ya Lal Ishq nahi🥱. Did she even not see that there was a murder in 10th episode to aur kitna horror chaahiye ise?
WTH didn't JCPH1 has such a horrible ending🤪. Thank God I didn't watch the ending of the show🤔JCPH jaise comedy show ko murder mystery bana dia ending mein so as bring season 2 of the show and even butcher Elaichi's dad character😵👎🏼
Hope season 2 is not spoilt like that at the end👎🏼
I don't know what got into viewers. They never did with their other shows. May be the channel pressured them into doing such a nonsense. I hope this show does not drag till 552 episodes like season 1 or even more. They better end it in 150-200 episodes as a finite series or it will only get ruined more. Its continuing story like other shows not like Bhabhiji or Happy which has 1 story lasting 5 episodes ki dragging chal bhi jaayega. So no dragging this time please. Also they better not butcher any positive character like season 1 end. Some in comments say it may be Elaichi's ghost but it's not possible as how will CP'a parents and BFF look same like hers but people are not thinking this way. Abhi tak to thik chal raha hai show. Hope aage bhi thik chale.
