One more in the list of happy PD memories for Adi-Imlie today, even as the time for Adi's departure for Delhi looms closer.
I was wary about how they will handle the transition from the hug scene yesterday but so far they've handled it quite well.....from the little bits of awkwardness in the morning as they both remember the hug but slept on the floor on opposite sides of the bed....lol.....to a new awareness around each other when they get back to PD.
And then the cuteness overload scene....and what I guess can be termed as the first time Adi flirted with Imlie 😆....but really such an adorable scene. NN messes up all of Imlie's clothes so she's left with no choice but to put on Adi's since they were hanging inside the hut.....lol and then she refuses to come out and asks him to go to the restaurant with the others.....such sweet bits woven in here as Adi initially thinks she doesn't want to go with him cuz she's upset and he's like "par hum tumhare saath jaana chahte hain"....aww.....and then him wondering if she's feeling awkward about the hug last night and he even gets ready to apologize😆....toh Imlie quickly clarifies it's not that and asks him not to say sorry atleast😆. Finally our little Jhalli emerges from the hut in her tomboy outfit and Adi bursts out laughing😆.....before quickly gathering his bearings after seeing her about to run back inside in irritation.....haha aww but after this it gets so cute as Adi keeps telling her that SHE'S so cute😆. Imlie's like I don't even know the meaning of that word😆.....but that doesn't stop Adi from pyar se rolling up the sleeves of the shirt for her as he asks her why she's wearing his clothes.
Then when Imlie complains that she looks like a boy in these clothes, he goes and plucks a rose to tuck behind her ear and tells her ki ab woh ladki lag rahi hai....chhoti si, sundar si, cute si ladki.....😆....again, such a sweetly done bit cuz even the way he initially struggled with tucking in the rose gave it a natural vibe as Imlie was watching him with a soft/shy smile.....he's showing his affection for Imlie itne pyar se, naturally and the conversation from last night has freed them up to express this much to each other.....especially Adi.....it's a whole new Adi to behold😆....he just wants to cherish her....it shows in every gesture of his....and Imlie is basking sweetly in this affection from him.......it was so cute that even later on when she was fidgeting with the jeans again, he kept telling her she's looking very cute😆. Compliments toh are bas pouring out spontaneously from Babusahib now😆.
Iske baad the comic scene with Imlie trolling NN was hilarious too.....Imlie ki comic timing on display after many days😆.....and for a change, Babusahib was not the party pooper but full on ENJOYING the Imlie show😆.....they even put in a poignant bit of him asking Imlie to make her NN promise ki woh Imlie ko pyar se rakhengi.....and then him pondering again over the fact that Imlie doesn't keep grudges even against those who've mistreated her to this extent like her NN....and why did it take him so long to see this.....Babusahib just keeps on falling harder for his Jhalli in every scene....he's basically marveling over some facet of her personality every moment here.
The rest felt like filler stuff....lol there was a brief Adi-Prakash jealousy bit but Prakash seems to have left for now and I guess agli mulakaat will be in Delhi. Baaki panuati Dev is finally reaching PD and it's likely that Adi is going to see him there and reach the obvious conclusion.....the dreamland phase in PD is going to come to an end soon with a harsh jolt for the characters I guess.
