I love Kishore Kumar's voice and at one point my music library had more KK songs than even Lata Mangeshkar, another singer I admire greatly but it would be delusional of anybody to say that KK is a better singer than Rafi because he is not, even KK would not have said that.

Sonu Nigam is one of the most exceptional singer in the last 20 odd years. His singing talent is peerless, maybe Shankar Mahadevan comes close but then he does not sing as mush as Sonu Nigam so we don't know if he is as versatile as Sonu Nigam.

As far as Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is concerned he won't ever be as good as Sonu Nigam is. That does not mean his songs are bad or he is a bad singer, it's just that Sonu Nigam's singing abilities are simple out of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's reach or league.

That's what my point is... I love all singers udit shanu rahat etc... But the fact remain the same what udit shanu rahat fan don't belive in is Sonu Nigam had sung more vareity in his carrier compare to any of them.... To say if we pick kumar sanu from 1990 to 2000 he just had one monotonous hey hey heyyy style of singing.... He was so limited as a singer same with udit or any other singer to say... But sonu is one singer who have sang in each and every genre he can carry any sing gracefully.... I doubt if udit or kumar sanu can carry a rahat song in rahat style...

I don't know why we have to compare😕

In the age of tonu Kakkars & badshahs,be happy we have Sonu Nigam & rahat Fateh Ali Khan to fall back to.
