Windows is not bad too if you can take care of it. Windows is ideal for work. I used to have to keep repairing my windows and got fed up and got a Chromebook instead and has been running good for 4 years. Chromebook is good for browsing only.

Yeah, windows starts getting slow after a year hence I got a mac now and only use Windows when im at my mums place. Its so slow. I hope my mac wont slow down like this.

The fan inside the laptop should regularly be cleaned. That slows it down too. It was causing my laptop to slow down.
