Good morning sisterhood! 🌺🌷🌺
The episode was interesting -- finally, one person used her detective brain 🧠: Madhuri and opened up the another gate of the Chakravyuh for Sai... It is interesting how Sai knows she has been trapped. It is a natural thought that would cross the mind of someone who's been caught in a fix: when your heart and head are not in agreement and intuition tells you something is amiss.
Her interaction with Madhuri opened the floodgates of possibilities for Sai --something that her mind was waiting for. The probability of the message not being sent by Pulkit is strong. Madhuri's reasoning is logical -- right from not knowing Sangeeta Deshpande to Pulkit preparing for the wedding that he suddenly has "run away" from. Was it only me or did anyone else find the photo album funny? 😆😆 Devyani and Pulkit had a camera person following them during their courtship? May be a friend.... So didn't the camera man get invited to the wedding as well 😅 they don't seem to have any pics of the wedding. Madhuri obviously knows the story -- but Sai still doesn't 🙄🙄 or does she and we'll know later? Today would have been an opportune moment to tell the back story while they were at it to make Sai's resolve so much more credible.
It's weird that neither Madhuri nor Sai is actually freaking out about the possibility of Pulkit being in extreme danger! The only aim seems to be to ascertain who sent the message -- if one closely looks, the mention of Sangeeta Deshpande in itself is a clue about the people behind it but either Sai is too overwhelmed to think or she's still guessing... However, what does one say about the missing 'thehraav' that Bhavani spoke about? It is really missing. Sai's impulse at the moment can not just land her in trouble but also pose harm to Pulkit but she doesn't seem to be thinking. She is aware that the letter was planted and that Virat was misled with the proof. What if it is actually the ghar ke bade who are behind this? If she had paused to think before charging in like a bull at the family, it would be so much better for her cause.
In the process, she has actually let out the information that she's suspecting a plot. It has alerted the conspirators -- it is an imprudent move. It will only make Sai's own path more difficult. The trio will up their strategy and play even more dangerous..
Her need to confront and seek immediate answers is exactly how she functions in every situation. Would it not help if she learns to remain silent and observe-- a skill she seems to terribly lack. Observation is such an important weapon in strategy planning... She would have been able to assess the conduct of the three suspects so much better. She would have even understood that Ashwini, just like her, has been trapped in order to sever the bond...
How easy was it for Ninad to play on Ashwini's emotions? He is aware that Ashwini is gullible. Give the person a bit of what they have been craving for and the chance of them going about things the way you want is high. All Ashwini seeks is a little respect and care. Because she cares and is a doormat, his act of anxiety is enough to get her to be concerned and willing. Ninad could feign it well -- that is how he has been doing things all these years. That is why Ashwini's first instinct is to defend Ninad during a confrontation with Virat.
The three Ghar ke bade have absolutely sharp observation skills -- one must give it to them. They know the exact spots on someone's nerves that need to be pressed in a given situation. Ninad knew Ashwini's motherly instinct for Devyani, her craving for his attention and her instinct to protect Sai from the onslaught of things is all he needs to mention -- he did it in the right order. Beginning with the concern for Devyani, addressing her as 'hamari bacchi', understanding Ashwini's sadness for Devyani's condition. He then false fed her missing self esteem between them with that touch-- gosh, it felt so creepy despite them being husband and wife. There was a definite estrangement between them-- they haven't touched each other in years. Finally, he moved to ingraining in her mind that 'tumhari bahu' (Sai) is the one to be blamed for this mess. Enough of it has been created -- she did not even obey your son-- but she now needs to stop -- or she will cause trouble to Devyani and the family and also invite trouble for herself. The only one who can 'make Sai understand' is you because she is 'tumhari bahu'. Ashwini's surrender was not at all surprising. It was waiting to happen because the voices of reason have to remain silent when the son of the house turns up to judge the match in the middle of it.
The most interesting part today was Sai acknowledging that there is one person who could have told her how to exit the Chakravyuh: Virat. Wasn't he warning her not to venture into it, in the first place? Sai may not have understood but Virat was definitely speaking to her from his deep concern for her and not out of distrust for her intentions. But now, she's in the middle of the webbed spinning wheel and has no idea where the exit will be. She's confused, overwhelmed, anxious and alone. Rather, she has been alienated-- he support system has been dismantled one by one.
There was something about the way she ran into her room and threw herself on the bed -- the feeling of resignation, defeat, distress and yet that deep urge to fight back but overwhelming helplessness... She found herself alone but almost like seeking some kind of comfort with her head resting on the side that is Virat's -- and of course the pop-up toy that actually brought about a few seconds of familiar comfort.
It was interesting that she actually thinks of the situation as the Chakravyuh... At the centre of which are Devyani and Pulkit but separated by a thick wall and to unite them it's Sai who has to go all around the maze and find that centre first and then the possible point where the wall can be breached. While she has realised it's a maze, she is yet to realise that she's up against seasoned players. A war cannot be fought alone. She knows how to get into the maze and falls for traps laid for her -- she was almost crushed in the maze set up by Jagtap earlier -- because she doesn't care much about the exit path when she walks in. It was a consolation to see that she finally realised she needed to ask Virat the way out -- of course, he would have told her to pause or abort-- and sternly at that. But sometimes a pause is indeed necessary to gather thoughts.
It is also interesting that Ninad prepared Ashwini for telling off Sai beforehand...it means that the trio definitely expected Sai to still give it another try. They are definitely ahead of her at this moment. They just did not anticipate that she will suspect it to be the kind of conspiracy it really is already and with her loud revelation of her thoughts, it has given them a chance to go ahead and plan another move to mislead or outsmart her.
Special mention to Senior Vahini standing at the door of the senior couple 😂😂 Bhavani has definitely found a perfect successor in her missing soldier to carry forward this part of the legacy 😝
The cat and mouse game is indeed unpredictable even though the ultimate outcome can be guessed... It is ominous that Sai has not yet thought about the worst possibility for Pulkit and also herself. Will she ever realise that both of them are the victims of the same contempt and are on the verge of being annihilated together?
******
Pata Nahi kyun, today the heart is feeling a bit heavy for Sai... The dewdrop has been cornered so badly... How will she turn the tables around without getting wounded 🥺🥺🥺
Sai's 24K heart of gold will not allow her to abandon her quest to restore the life to Devyani, even if it means offering herself as the sacrifice that it would need. It often happens to people when fighting someone else's battle against injustice becomes the sole purpose of life -- it is a feeling that comes from deep compassion for the person and also from the deep sense of 'outrage' against the prolonged oppression that the person has had to suffer because of having no voice.
Sai's feeling for Devyani reminds me of an evergreen yesteryear song:
In aankho me na ab mujhko khabhi aansoo nazar aayein....sada hasti rahe aankhein, sada ye honth muskaayein
Mujhe apni sabhi aahen sabhi dardo aalam de do
Agar mujh se mohabbat hai mujhe sab apne gham de do
In aankho ka har ek aansoo mujhe meri kasam de do...agar mujh se mohabbat hai...
Have a great weekend all of you and an awesome day ahead filled with cuppas of ☕☕☕☕☕🍵🍵🍵🍵 and arms filled with innumerable 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 and ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
