Hai I got so happy but am.not so sure with some gundas chedooing imlie now unless that is another sign for babusahib ke imlie ko peeche chodke nahi jaa sakte yahan *sigh*

With Imlie, they are equals but sometimes he does take mentor role, sometimes she takes a mentor role and here I think he would have to take that mentor role for her to understand that sometimes it’s Ok to break a promise or adjust your beliefs for the bigger picture of happiness and peace. If it’s Imlie promise, she is more emotional in this matters and she will take it till the end. As we have seen from this whole marriage saga, she is more of “ jaan jaye vachan na jaye” types so it will be more difficult for her to go around it just because of her belief and upbringing.

@bold: Oh ofcourse.....no one is saying he should stay trapped and suffocated in a promise that won't make anyone happy in the long run....not even Malini for whom he may be doing the sacrifice.

My point was simply that he cannot just brush aside the promise and pretend he never made it...he has a tendency to zone out things he said and did that he doesn't want to face.....and I don't want him to be let off the hook easy on this.....I want him to FACE what he did....that he made promises that he didn't fully understand.

Adjustment and evolution are part of this journey for him....but he can't just suddenly wake up one day and pretend a promise doesn't matter....he needs to go through the process of understanding why the promise was wrong to make and why it can't sustain in the long run.....and ultimately this is Karma coming for him.....so he will wallow in that purgatory for a bit too I'm sure....that emotionally torturous journey is part of what makes it a compelling watch😆.

Imlie is more idealistic than him about some things and yes, she does take promises more seriously....and then she is the one with bigger selfless streak willing to step back even at her own cost. Adi is not😆....he will fight for his right and make her fight too.....but this is just not as black and white a case to fight for....that is what will keep complicating it for Adi too even if he wants to fight for them. Exam ke case mein toh easy tha haq ke liye ladna.....but not here....here it's not clear who has what right, what haq.....thanks to Adi convoluting it all for so long by first not admitting his marriage with Imlie is valid and then going and marrying someone else.

I think so too, i guess, . all these things are stacking up for Aditya to make a case that she cannot stay in PD and needs to come back with him,

Also, all these dances scenes seemed like a prestep for an holi dance (so that we are prepared and its doesn't seem out of nowhere).... there might be another dance but with the T's and C's as a witness.... But again, this might be just my la la land thinking. 😛

Ohh yes!! He needs to definitely feel the burden of the choice and decision that he alone made when he married Malini. Imlie did support it but it was all his choice and decision.

@bold 2: That journey is something that I have been waiting for and I think it has kind of started, baby steps yet but the emotional struggle has started to be evident. Ab, we have to see how much "woh isse gol gol ghumate", and what bahanas he comes up , before he accepts his feelings and start facing the repercussions of his wrong choices and decisions.

PD was just small view of his ping pong bahanas from responsibility to farz to closure to career to marzi and he went from one to other within a span of couple of days. I just cant wait to see what he comes up with in Delhi to justify his feelings for Malini and his contradictory actions for Imlie. 😆

Edited: Also his emotional struggle related to Malini. When Imlie brought her up, his expression was apt as if he was not comfortable listening to her name He was struggling there too and then he went into his compartmentalizing mode that I will take care of my issues (I guess when time comes was the subtext😛)

Whole point of this PG trip was to increase Adi-Imli bonding - so when he returns to Delhi - he is compelled to miss her and be unable to move on.

My take is they are showing a bit of everything that will make Adi uncomfortable at leaving Imli and going to Delhi.

Prakash, Adi need for her and awareness of their own burgeoning attraction, goons tease and his inability to protect her.

Imli is going to tell Adi - go live with Malini - and pls don't come back. I will be fine - my faith will carry me for the rest of my life. I have enough memories to last a lifetime. Adi is not going to be happy with this. I wonder if she will go to the extent of shutting him off - will we see her waving him goodbye or refusing to engage - will be interesting to see - how the CVS will play this.

Yeah he's made a mess that I just don't know how he'll clean up. Part of me is feeling by having GM and how excited he seemed that even if the upcoming track will really turn Adi grey (I don't even think it's about flipping per se, I feel like this man is just going to keep causing chaos and once Imlie is at Tripathis will be PD -Adi. That's just going to cause pain. for Imlie)

Overall I'm just bracing myself Imlie is in for a world of pain thanks to BBS. As is he himself and Malini, but really Imlie is going to suffer a lot. I kind of wish the more strong version would take over more, but I just don't know if that will happen here...
