I mooched on the Ghum show forum earlier too and the negative leas aka his real life gf actually gets a LOT of hate. Nitpicked on everything imo from her looks to her acting. I may have missed something but to me this is the classic case of the fans going wayyyy overboard. I have seen comments where the fans are wishing her ... death and the sort. Considering she is down with Covid, that is just terrible! I dont even know the lady or watch her religiously but it makes me want to defend her. I saw the show's PH also posted a public post addressing the hate in some context. Some comments did say the actress adds fuel to the fire but I see nothing of the sort or I just dont know 🤷‍♀️. On the contrary, the actors are actually really chill on the set

Yeah I've felt the same. I haven't seen much of the BTS/IVs etc. but from what I can tell, fans are mostly upset bc every time they get BTS, it's with the IRL engaged leads but not with the in-show married couple (or the engaged FL is also included, so trio IVs)...so fans think that since the two leads got engaged, they've basically stopped giving IVs with the other in-show couple. Which could be true, IDK. I guess I can understand that being annoying since we also had a time when we had nothing but trio BTS 🤔 and ours don't even have those real-life connections...

And the other reason people seem to hate the GF is bc she "defends" her character and doesn't think of her as a villain, which the fans do. I mean...that's her perspective on it and obvs it's her character so she will defend her to an extent. And some people do get their characters wrong, but from what I've seen, all she's done is point out that it's not all black and white and emotions are complex. But like I say, IDK the ins and outs of it. I don't think she's as...err...highly-strung as the namkeen one, so I do feel like she gets attacked unfairly a lot of the time. Considering she's the ML's fiancée I'm sure it affects him/them too off-screen, which is sad. And you always hope these things don't affect the bonds of actors, but sometimes people do decide to keep their distance and/or not give BTS together because it's not worth the hassle.

Again, SO thankful for our SharBhi and their complete lack of drama on the show or outside of it 🧿🧿🧿

So this is where the hate stems from. The lack of the reel jodi IVs. Ok, I think I kind of get the point of the fans that the personal and professional lines are blurring there. It would certainly be very irritating if I was their fan too.

I've seen snippets of the show on instagram. Been noticing it more since D pointed out that the FL is the type that doesnt take shit from anyone. No mahanta and fake adarsh bahu BS which is true from what I have watched. A sassy FL alright. But that show isnt my cup of tea. And I have watched bits of that actress too. They havent villainized her yet. Basically kept her the delusional, 'wronged' person. I suppose that is why she comments that way. Which is stupid imo. Should just switch her to the black side. This isnt complex emotional, its a person in gross denial about some married man. The hypocrisy is astounding too.

I see why the fans are annoyed but I still wouldnt say that warrants death wishes and all extra things the fans are going about on about the ML not reposting, etc. That is too low a blow. This is also when fans become toxic and start burdening their favs with the weight of their 'love'. Also totally agree that at some point it could impact the actors. As it is, this situation could be a bit awkward although this actress is definitely not as bad as salt lady. But like you said, why go through all that trouble.
