I haven't watched Night Manager but I'm trying to picture SRK as Heisenberg in Breaking Bad now and I need some time to form an opinion on that. I think he'd be okay.... with someone like ...perhaps Amith Sadh as his Pinkman.😆

Nice idea but truth is BW cant write decent commercial stories for both older leading men and women. Amitabh understood it and played Aish's dad in Mohabbatein while his contemporaries disappeared

Times have evolved from then to now ... I think more roles are opening up for older actors too, especially with online streaming. Amitabh was pretty good in Sarkar, for example and stole the show.

The problem with SRK is.... he has been trying to reclaim his star power the way Salman did with Dabangg but one formula doesn't work on everyone. Like Aamir sticks to thought-provoking yet entertaining movies and that keeps him going, SRK needs to build a brand of his own ... and since he's the best at playing grey characters and we haven't seen him as one in a long time, I think a powerful script with a performance oriented role can salvage his career ... it will also be refreshing for the audience.

I have suggestions for him, too. Someone please get him to watch the CBI trilogy from Malayalam. He'd be great as Detective Sethuram Iyer. 😃

Yes online streaming provides more opportunities but problem is that the Khans don't want to lose their stardom. That is why he is doing a movie like Pathan. A blockbuster at theatres will be bigger than some OTT show which only few watches any day. Personally, I feel Khans should do roles like Liam Neeson in Taken or Cruise in MI series but BW cant even make a proper serious action thriller

Together they have been lucky for each other.. Shahrukh don't have any legendary songs besides those which are rendered by likes of Udit, Sonu or abhijeet.... His film songs after 2010 are forgettable :)
