Contestants and their History

We know almost everything written in this article. But I didn't know that Nachiket was in SRGMP Hindi too and Ashish in Marathi L'il Champs. Only Samyak was the one who never participated in any other shows.

I didn’t know many of these, they are all reality show veterans.

In my opinion, they shouldn’t allow you to participate if you’ve participated in another reality show. You’ve had your opportunity to shine, now let someone else shine.

Of those left, only Anjali, Arunita and Shanmukh are the clear cut talents in their respective fields and can hold their own, in their genre, against all similar experienced contestants. You can pitch them against any opponent (in their genre) and they will perform creditably. The rest would struggle to make headway against the likes of even Idol 10 contestants.
Does not mean that any one of these can't win - even Prashant Tamang won in Idol 3!
Indian Idol's format and focus is not entirely music talent based. There is a big dose of "popular entertainer" attached to its audience targeting which contributes to the final result.

I don't think there is a single decent singer in India rn who have not participated in their town, village or regional singing competition especially as a kid. So, I won't count those regional or town competition like voice or udupi etc.

Participating in kids national show as 9-11 years old is also fine imo

But those who have participated and won in adult national competition should not come

SMP has literally grown up on the sets ... from the cradle to the.......keep going in search of the elusive victory.

On googling I did n t find Sayli in any Mummy ke superstar or Nachiket as the 2016 finalist.

Sawai seems to be a raw talent. Sawai, Sayli and Ashish have participated for financial security due to lockdown probably....

Lockdown made it harder to find new talent so they just took auditions from those they knew hence we got Anjali, SMP, Vaishnav, Pawandeep, Danish, etc. Every season has to have one underpriviledged contestant (Salman, Sunny) hence Sawai

Agree but he is not pampered like Salman. He has a clear and pleasant voice.

This show seems to revolve around Pawan... whos is a Jack of all and master of none.

I searched on YouTube for Sawai Bhatt. He does life shows perhaps not participated in contests I am not sure. His videos are there called sawai Bhatt exposed.
