You r right. But I could never ever relate to Maya or justify her actions . Raghav may be manipulative but is not cruel and negative like her . He is compassionate and has a heart of gold . Raghav does everything unconditional while Maya has her reasons for doing everything even for the person she claims to love . She harms her loved ones also but Raghav is helpless when it comes to ppl he loves. He checks on the welfare of ppl he loves not stalks like Maya .And finally Raghav has only temper issues whereas Maya has both temper and mental issues .Ya, he can’t be Mohan Bhatnagar bcause he was grounded but this man is full of ego and attitude. At this time what he need most is his moms love . May be after tat his life becomes stable
I am not talking about the mentality where Maya and Raghav come from. Usme to aakash paatal ka farq hai. The intent of both is way different. I just compared some tendencies - like being territorial or obsessively protective or possessive. In fact, he can stalk also if needed, case in question, Kirti and Akash. Basis those tendencies, I am making an analysis. Okay, forget Maya Mehrotra, she was negative. Remember, Devvrat Dixit, as in Dev from Kuch Rang Pyaar ke Aise Bhi. He was an ideal brother, son, businessman. But coming to his other tendencies, he was possessive, territorial, overly protective, and also a stalker, when it came to Sonakshi. In fact, there was a phase where these tendencies pissed Sonakshi off, cause he applied them to his family, so he did the same to Sonakshi. Sonakshi was an independent businesswoman herself. She did not appreciate it then either. But Dev's qualities as a person negated those tendencies about him. Minus the temper issues and his business, Raghav Rao and Dev Dixit have similar tendencies. That is what I am trying to explain - their need to protect or possess something is so strong, that their love comes across as coercion and suffocates the person sometimes.
