Kismat wala Haq

Woah, what a bumper start to the week👏😆.....Fantastic episode today.

Adi has sprung up from his near death experience with even more determination and resolve😆.....and that ended up giving us so many good Adi-Imlie scenes again today.

As expected, he was very upset with Imlie for ditching her exam for him....lol she tells him you bore so much pain for me, hid the fact that you had been bitten by the snake, so how could I go and give the exam? And Adi ka response is - phir bhi kuch faayda toh nahin hua na🤣.....this guy and his topic jumps.....lol

That opening scene was just really good in terms of how the emotion built up in Adi....first insisting she leave and go give the exam right away....but when Imlie refused, insisting that it would be too late by now and she can't leave him in this state and go....then deciding that he will himself take her on SK ka bike.....haha the outburst that came out of him when Imlie said he's in no state to drive that if SHE can climb a tree for his mom😆, come to save him from goons, why can't HE do this much for her? The FIERCENESS in him to ensure that she doesn't lose a year of her education....stopping her in her tracks with a fierce declaration that this is her right, her HAQ and no one can take her right away from her....and that HE is WITH her😆. The intensity with which he was talking about one exam, one could almost be forgiven for thinking that he was yet again using the exam as an example of a bigger haq that he himself isn't ready to accept fully yet😆.....and he pretty much told Imlie indirectly that what KISMAT aka DESTINY has given her as her haq cannot be taken away from her.....that one has to FIGHT for their HAQ.....lol.....this is going to play in her mind in the future.

Then Adi-Imlie were off on yet another long bike ride😆.....a bike ride during which we got a very interesting throwback.....Adi's guilt levels are so multi-faceted😆.....he manages to find the long arc of guilt in pretty much everything.....lol today it was him deciding that he hadn't been strong enough the first time he was giving her a ride on the bicycle and last time too it was his injured foot that forced them to stop and spend the night in that hut which then ruined both their lives with the forced marriage.....today he seems to think that he needs to bear the pain, needs to be strong enough to fight through it so that he can ensure he takes Imlie to her actual destined path a.k.a her education, her career. I got the sense that Adi has shifted into feeling guilty over the impact of the forced marriage on Imlie more now so this is a new stage for him rather than the blind denial of the marriage happening.....he has moved into trying to make amends for Imlie's life now....he is still yet to realize that it was Destiny that decided that day that he won't be able to ride the bicycle in the rain and will stop in the hut with Imlie.

At the exam site, he continued on the same theme giving a grand speech to the exam proctor about all the things that Imlie and many girls like her have to fight through to get to an opportunity like this so she deserves to get her chance to take the exam.....Imlie once again in awe of her Babusahib😆.....aaj toh kaafi levels pe clean bowled kar diya usko phir se.....lol.....that last bit before she goes to take her exam and he pyar se cups her cheek and tells her "Humein tum pe YAKEEN hai"....the way she just LIGHTS UP......aww uske baad aur kuch nahin chahiye tha Imlie ko and there is no doubt she will ace the exam with the boost of her Babusahib ka trust in her too😆.

Exam over and Babusahib is asked outside the hall ki why exactly is he so concerned about a girl from this village when he doesn't seem to be from around here....and once again, pat comes the reply from Adi ki "Woh humaari patni hai"😆.....as always, it's very easy for him to call Imlie his wife in PD....but Imlie heard him and seems confused again about what he's doing😆.

The story shifted gears a bit today cuz Adi has moved on from last week ka FARAK obsession to Imlie ka EXAM obsession now😆.....so I'm not sure if FARAK obsession is fully done for now - that he got his answer ki Imlie ko farak padaa since she gave up her exam for him 😆.....so now he's all about her exam only......ab exam is done, toh what's going to be his excuse to hang around? Aaj bhi he was threatening to leave PD if Imlie didn't give the exam😆.

Mithi ne sab dekh liya hai her Jamaai Babu's FIERCE concern for her gudiya😆....usi ke basis pe karegi request ki pooja ke liye ruk lo and Babusahib will sigh and agree in "obligation" yet again.😆

On the Delhi side, Malini didi with her erratic back and forths again😆.....bechaari Aparna ko rulaa tak diya aaj....I felt so bad for her when she was hesitatingly trying to ask for some consideration for Adi from Malini.....but baad mein Malini as usual flipped again and was suddenly like oh I should have thought of your pain too😆

The other big shift seems to be that PD wala khabri of Adi's showing up as a possible source to reveal Adi-Imlie's marriage.....but it seems like a usual red herring.....I guess the topic will deflect tomorrow somehow again even though they ended it on Malini didi ka "shocked" face.....haha at her doing jaasoosi of the pati she claims to trust implicitly *slow claps*😆.

Anyways, so that is indeed a weekly precap again of Adi giving his name to Imlie.....waiting to see how it actually pans out cuz the SRK pose precap was very different in the actual epis.....lol so I don't know if we will get any declaration to that level from Adi despite the precap.

Now this is how you join the lose ends and bring a whole arc together ❤♥ this is why this show stands out caz casually things aren't thrown in despite the claims that we overthink and writers do not tend to show that much depth.. ehh

Anyway coming back to the episode

What a DHAMAKA this was !! I expected adi to force her to take exam but not like this.. he had a new found zeal in getting her to sit it and do it once for her think about herself make herself a priority. What a way to use his ghussa for the benefit of her as she is putting her entire life on line for his dard.. yeh bhi koi koi hi kar sakta hai.. the theme of putting the other up themselves shined through so amazingly where on one end she was willing to give up her whole year her most cherished sapna away caz it would cause her babusahib the pain and discomfort him finding a new found aag to.fix what went wrong due to his laziness the last time to fix her life to support her so fiercely in achieving her sapna bina any swarth of his.. the way he went onto reminding her of her very sapne how she takes pride in it and how she has achieved it on her till now and should not for anyone give it up. Wow

Absolutely loved adi's authority totally using his every haq bearing the pain so she can fly...isn't this what partners aee supposed to do anyway. Not letting her get away with any of the excuses today caz again as you said the guilt is so multi faceted they opened a new pehlu of it today gave it a new turn and I also thought it was kind of a completion of the room conversation before dilse that day she made him aware ke she wasn't at fault and suffered and today he finished that conversation with using that and acknowledging indeed it was him who caused so much hullla in her life for no fault of hers.. though both if them were victims of destiny..

Adi using the very same destiny cannot be taken away with so.much conviction it showed how that very thing his heart has accepted so.deeply I liye it came out so strongly if only he gets more awareness about it... but today it had the yakeen in the way he said it.. and told her...then all the way she so concerned about his pain and him.braving it all caz he wants it.all not to go waste .. 👏

Then the amazing support at the exam.hall and the way he itne pyar se told her to go.to.give it her best he has faith in her to.encourage her after all the daant man my heart.. super endearing.. simple but dil ko chu jaane wala and imlie gaining gaining much confidence after it as if ussi moment top kar lia ho isne.. she is gonna be so over the moon in coming days caz jaise adi ne aaj support kia na woh toh log sadiyon baad bhi nahi ka paate.. and the way he so casually but woth haq called her patni without any iota of guilt or.embarrament infact his tone had pride in it to.an extent.. wonderful wonderful wonderful

The other side I can't with malini I felt terrible for bechari aparna having to.hear so much about her son for nothing really huge.. I liked how the family sticked for adi too and were given practical and rational reasons ke aisa kya hi gaya hai.consider the complexities of his job... thank you for standing up for him.you guys.. he needed that wwrna he is getting thrown under the bus unnecessarily...so much vishwaas for real*slo claps* ek tarf imlie hai who can give her whole.life her whole career up in a jiffy and dusri taraf yeh abhi bhi main.ohome.nahi karoongi ego ki maari despite them.telling ke his work demands this secrecy woah.. sorry no.sweet talk is gonna make me come through thst fast not after what she is putting aparna through

Yes the precap may not come.like that but I guess we did got 25% of it today

Babusahib toh is looking for.a reason to hang in pagdandiya for few more days ab recovery ka bahana kar lenge... we need them saath main..

I genuinely felt sad for the Tripathis today. They are so clueless on where they stand with Malini that Aparna felt the need to go into the kitchen to cry worrying about her son. I do not want to spend energy on the toddler in the room but that toddler today was beyond reproachful. So much so that the family felt the need to defend Aditya. Not that it mattered.

Aditya is not just carrying the guilt of lying to Malini. He is also carrying the guilt of getting Imlie entangled in the web of deceit. He finally acknowledged the fact that he is not the lone sufferer of consequences in the turn of events. He finally sees clearly that Imlie is dealing with the stain too and it is different for a woman. He knew it all along but refused to accept it because of anger. Today was a revelation of sorts for him. And Imlie saw an Aditya who fought for her right to take the exams as much as any other person in that room. Her apprehension of completing the test in an hour flew out the window the moment he wished her luck and said he believed in her capabilities. What a long way these two have come.

Mithi saw this changed Aditya too, one who believed in her daughter’s future as much she always did. And rightly gave him keys to the bike so that he could take Imlie in his condition. Mithi is why Imlie is so good. And that is exactly why she will continue to get Aditya’s respect.

As far as the office scene is concerned. The editor will now be in on the secret. Malini and Nishant would not have heard jack.

Awesome episode. REwatching to catch all the major dialogues by Adi.. what a shift in BS..

Trying to wrap my head around all that Aditya revealed by his actions and his words today.. wow wow.. and Poor Imlie is left reeling to deal with the force of nature that is Aditya, that blew her intent of leaving her pati and his family behind for good.

Mithi was a star witness to the formidable jamaai babu, who used his flair and love for language, righteousness to make Imlie acquiesce to his demand of taking the exam. He was determined that she will not lose a year due to him. The opening scene was again forceful - both of them very aware of what the other has sacrificed. Aditya has been handed a chance on a golden platter to make things right for Imlie and he seizes it with both hands. Like he mentioned to Imlie on her b'day on making a new start, they have started afresh, certainly Aditya has. His guilt over the way he has treated Imlie in the past, holding her responsible for his misery and situation, to make things right as she has suffered as much as him if not more.

I am still trying to process all the scenes😆 they were so impactful today. The honest conversation during the bike ride on the way to the exam hall, was beautiful. He blamed himself for not listening to her then as he did not want to get soaked by the rain. If not for the play by destiny, their crossed paths would have ended when his assignment was over.

Aditya is impressed by Imlie's intelligence, her sharp mind and wants her to fight for her 'haq'. Today that was the word of the day. HAQ - the very thing that Imlie said he can never grant her, is being handed to her when she least expects it. With no one to bat for Mithi/Imlie, Aditya sees these 2 women who are inherently good simple souls, fighting their way in the world by themselves. He is floored and touched by their nature anew after he witnessed both sacrificing their meal for him.

As he rightly said to the exam proctor, Imlie has fought the mentality, poverty and hunger who deserves a chance to write the exam. Where girls are often ignored, who are thought to be fit only for marriage and looking after the family, whose education is often overlooked, denied in many cases, boys are sent to school over the girls. IT was a message and he felt RIGHT doing it for Imlie and for others like her. He took a stand for truth. Despite faltering on the bike ride, he bore the pain so that Imlie can achieve her dreams.

He pleaded with the proctor to let Imlie in to write the exam. More on HAQ later in the thread as I need to process all that it meant for Adilie. He said that she had to grab it with hands, what destiny has given her.

He mentioned to Mithi about Imlie's heroics for his mother, family, saving his life and pleading with her, can't I do this simple act for her? When she has been so selfless for me, for us(his family), let me have a chance to make amends.

The precap declaration - he said it today to the proctor when he was asked what is his rishta to the giri and why did he fight for her to write the exam. He simply said - yeh hamaari patni hai. The way he tenderly cupped Imlie's cheek and sent her off with good wishes to write her exam, was like a ray of sunshine bursting on Imle's face, who would have aced the exam. 😆 he tells Imlie that she has the pen in her hand to write her OWN destiny. 👏

The family is witnessing Malini's delusions and perceived anger due to Aditya lying to her. They are helpless to deal with her nature. Her very doubts on Aditya and her see saw over the past 2 days, making everyone's lives a misery.. they have a taste of what Aditya would be going through. She did not give time for anyone to think of Imlie, it was purely about her, her bruised heart and hurt ego.

Editor saab knows about Aditya's marriage to Imlie... he will be sa ecret bearer. Look at each of them bearing a secret now. DEv and his mother, Aditya and Imlie, Nishant, Imlie and Rupali, Malini hiding the fact that she saw Adi carrying Imlie away to safety leaving her lying on the ground.. hmm who is next? 🤣

@bold: Yes, I feel like what we saw from Adi today was another variation of his emotions from the ambulance scene....at that time he had felt he let her down not being there for her and trying to get rid of her when she got shot......at that time also he seemed to feel this immense guilt that she was suffering because of HIM.

Today his other notable line was, "Jab bhi hum tumhaare liye kuch achha karne jaate hain, pata nahin kyun kismat humein bura banaa deti hai"😆.....so he has absolutely felt that guilt inside him for a long time that his intent is good but Kismat makes him a villain😆......and usually he feels this in regards to Malini ki he didn't want to wrong her, he didn't want to lie to her but he is caught in these circumstances.....today for a change, he was focused on the fact that Imlie is suffering the consequences of his choices too.....and in his own roundabout way he was desperate to make amends.....so the exams became the focus of all that desperate need in him to make amends.....to try and fix what CAN be "controlled".....setting her on a career path....cuz he has no answers for the rest of the mess yet.

The problem for Babusahib is that his actions in trying to make these amends reveal far more than he realizes....and Mithi saw everything clearly today😆. Imlie bechaari toh will continue to feel confused by his back and forth I'm sure.....but he gained more regard in Mithi's eyes by being willing to put everything including his life on the line for her daughter.

@bold - word on control. This man’s entire life has been about control and he lost it the day he met Imlie when he went and hit his scooty. I think he will now tell himself that this is what he came for, this was the unfinished business and this is why he needs to take her back.

Will Imlie need more to go back? I do not know if she will have a choice. She anyway thinks Malini is his be all and end all so that is anyway ruled out in her mind. And if she is able to study further in return I think she will presume that to be a good bargain.

Also, what he did today was as much if not more of an apology that he could demonstrate.

Oh and I forgot to add above am totally with you on him.now seriously realizing the repercussions on her and all this is coming from.the heavy guilt regarding how much she has lost so.to begin with he wants her to focus on herself and achieve her dreams all his jataooing his haq was to get her to.fighr for herself he is still far far away from any love realization or confession despite all this.. for now.it is just making amends trying to fix all the bad stuff that is in his control still like getting her to.college and help.her achieve her dreams.. the haq has a different shade right now ..

Loved the episode today! I think Imlie will go back with her BS now 😊. So excited for her college track and to see her back in Delhi 😄

I really felt bad for Aparna. She wasn’t able to express her own feelings to her own bahu. It wa every telling of the relationship they share.
