I hope we'll have you here on a regular basis ❤️

Thank you for watching the show. And biggest of all sharing your thoughts about the show 🤗❤️

The bold is what it is. The harshest truth.

The reason why I was so upset and so tensed with the show Because controversy is the easier to spark now, especially how without doing anything yet shows get under censorship or get tangled in controversies and it becomes a national issue now a days. This was the best plot to run with, without creating any controversy. I know it's kind of a thing they could have avoided but then the plot it is around the eternal love something different yet something new I personally feel this theme and plot now, is perfect. Ofc things aren't black and white. It could have been avoided. But this was something new that we saw in terms of Webseries at least. Enjoyable. Even the cross border scenes were enough to "enrage anyone" though yes totally could have been different. Again, the music box has always played a very important symbol for both the shows. The codes being in it has the best plot option. But I am really okay with this plot when I see it. I mean if I have to take a lens and see, Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai so celebrated in both the countries, yet is much more flawed than in comparison to QH2.0 here still they had an universal theme of why it shouldn't be Woh aur Hum the radical racism and drawing of lines because of religion or country (Zoheb''s wife / Zoya confronting her Aunt) rest toh Pakistan ne acchi khatir dari hi ki Asad ki. So thik hai I guess, bina controversy mein liptaye show chal gayi mereko aur kuch nahi chahiye🤣

Firstly thanks for the welcome 🤗 Will try to be a regular attendee 😉

I agree with what your saying it was the safest option for them to play with considering the mood these days. It's just disappointing that things have to be this way at all & I hear harsher restrictions are yet to come. Entertainment should be free from all this but alas 🤔.

I would have preferred a veer-zara type theme personally. I haven't watched the Tiger movies myself, I tend to avoid anti-anything as it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth & aggravates my anxiety issues.

Appreciate the actors efforts though & KSG & SJ did a great job. I know that the sequel is a direct continuation but I would really love to see AAK as a hitmen or assassin that falls for the damsel in distress (not that Zoya is one 🤪) that would be so cool & fun.

Karan Singh Grover on quitting Qubool Hai, doing Qubool Hai 2.0: ‘Asad has always been with me’

Karan Singh Grover talks about reprising the role of Asad Ahmed Khan in Qubool Hai 2.0, quitting the original television show and the digital medium.

As much as fans are excited about Qubool Hai’s new outing, Karan Singh Grover is also looking forward to see himself as Asad on screen. The actor will be reprising the role in web show Qubool Hai 2.0, a spin-off of his Zee TV drama, also starring Surbhi Jyoti.

In an exclusive chat with indianexpress.com, Grover said that the character has always been close to his heart, and when he got to know the show will be created in a new universe, he couldn’t hold his excitement. “I have worked the hardest on Asad Ahmed Khan. He is very close to me, and the fans. And to know he would be seen in a new world, for a new show, was a win-win situation for everyone,” he said.

Karan further added that it did not even take long for him to slip into the ‘Asad’ mode as he has always been a part of him. He shared, “I have a very different way of working, which many wouldn’t call healthy. When I put in a lot of work, that character stays with me. So Asad has always been with me, within me. When I was told to get back as him, it didn’t even take a microsecond to say yes. Somewhere, he was excited inside me, knowing that it’s his turn now.”

The original show aired in 2012 and was much loved by fans for its progressive storyline. However, Karan Singh Grover shocked everyone when he decided to quit the show at its peak the next year. While there were claims of him being sacked because of his ‘bad boy’ behaviour, the actor maintained that he wanted a break from television. Post the show, he went on to star in films like Hate Story 3 and Alone, while the show continued to enjoy a successful run till 2016.

On asked if he ever regretted the decision or had second thoughts of rejoining the show, the 39-year-old, with his inimitable crooked smile said, “Not at all.” He went on to add that he had consciously decided to do a TV show for a year but managed to stay for a longer time with Qubool Hai.

“Asad is a very heavy character and I needed to break way from playing it every day. When you are being someone like him for more than 12 hours, everyday, you start getting disconnected with the reality. That was my major issue. I think if anyone wants to maintain the standard of creativity, then you cannot stretch it for long. Then it becomes mundane,” the actor shared.

KSG, as he is fondly called, recently made his digital debut with Dangerous alongside wife Bipasha Basu. And now with Qubool Hai 2.0 also making quite a noise, Karan shared that the web has created a great space for everyone in the creative field. He added that with everyone and everything evolving around, as entertainers, it’s time to unleash one’s creativity, and make the world a more beautiful place.

The vintage montage!

The creators who made a distant dream come true in form of #QuboolHai2Point0

Tahe dil se, Thank You. #quboolhai2 qubool hai! ❤️

.

Taking a moment to appreciate the montages. Both Asad & Zoya handshake and there's love that blossoms amidst blasts. What a brilliant way to symbolise their love. Love that ignites passion. Love that surpasses all borders, all chains, all shackles, love that is eternal. Love that is a war.

Woh mohobbat hi kya, jis mein junoon na ho?!

.

Sabne bola ki phir se dekho show. Woh kar rahi hoon. 😋

6th time it is.

Because when you were watching you were having the load / baggage of expectations especially the fear of Qh2 ruining QH also it was late at night and your phone didn't have charge and all, so when you saw the second time you had assurance that it is fine hence you enjoyed better.

The reason why I watch the last part first 🤣

I know it's such a shame, for one were getting so many different types of shows on OTT that are vastly different to the repetitive stuff on ITV. Here's hoping things will improve in future 👍🏼

I don't personally love veer-zara myself but I felt the angst & pain of the 2 lovers who waited forever to reunite. Unrealistic but mushy 🤪 I'm sure they'll go the ETT/TZH route for these two as they're supposed to be eternal lovers.

I fell crazy in love with KSG's version of RB in KZK & to me that is my DREAM man. I loved his character in BOSS as well, I don't really like those types of tharki 🤪Characters but he pulled it off really well. I would love him to play the hitman/assassin type with any heroine as well here's hoping someone will offer him such a role 🤞. There's also the hope of seeing him as a silent gangster type, an obsessive lover type, a mafia don...ooh I could go on forever. This man is truly
