A new birth for Adi

Gonna be a brief review today since most of the epi went in you know who ke ajeeb tantrums😆.

One lingering thought I was left with was that Adi sort of went through a sort of rebirth today....there was a little moment in between when he was on the verge of dying, his pulse slowing down, his eyes rolling back into his head....and his last conscious thought was about not wanting to go with the guilt of having wronged Malini. It just makes you think what a defining burden guilt can be in someone's life......and what a sad existence for Adi....his entire life is already defined by guilt....and his last "dying" thought was one of just yearning to be free of that guilt atleast in his final moments. And then came his literal second chance....the doctor came in and managed to save him cuz the snake wasn't poisonous enough....lol....and Adi awakens to a new beginning....an Imlie smiling tearfully at him.....it felt like the week came full circle in that moment.....Adi went through a lot of turmoil this week emotionally, all culminating in a moment where he was almost breathing his last before he came back from the dead in a sense.....so it feels like a new beginning now.

The other thought ofcourse was that Adi literally CASUALLY sacrificed his life so Imlie could go take an EXAM🤣.....I know this guy has been callous about his life since day one but this was on another level.....lol and you gotta love that for all his "Mere hone se Imlie ko farak nahin padta" confusion, he still was confident enough that she would give up her exam if she knew a snake bit him😆.....and once again he used his daant as a tool to divert her attention and hurt her into going away from him.....but it only worked for a brief bit.....lol Imlie again came back as if in a trance...some higher power helplessly pulling her back towards him....lol@ her musing if this was also another kind of emotion sickness😆.

Adi ne toh apna rebirth kar liya but Imlie again had to grapple with hearing Malini's name from his mouth in his "dying" moments and ofcourse she jumped to the obvious conclusion that he was missing his one true lowe😆.....still, I loved how fiercely she was cradling him and the way she finally shut up that Nakli Naani and literally tied her up to stop her from talking crap about Adi dying😆

I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised the makers didn't do any of the melodramatic things I was bracing myself for.....like some melodramatic pooja by patni Imlie to save Pati Adi😆.....as cartoonishly melodramatic that snake promo was, the actual epi was remarkably understated in many ways😆.

Which then brings me to the precap.....it doesn't look like a weekly precap as of now and it seems like the epi will air on Monday.....it seems hard to imagine Adi can step up like that to publicly give Imlie his name but then again, this is still PD, not Delhi😆....so he just might do it here.

A decent end to the week, although yesterday's episode was deffo a much bigger fav. of mine :) I guess we will know next week what makes Imlie head back with him to Delhi and the family "welcome" awaiting for lying to all of them.....lol

Whatever I was hoping, I got it today. I kind of knew, adi will hide from imlie that a snake bit him. He even scolded at her to distract her so that she can leave for her exam. What a dude, he doesn't even care about his life and was ready to die. 😭He simply doesn't want Imlie to miss her exam. 😒

I guess the whole snake bite incident was the test for adi-imlie. Like where they stand in each other's lives. Adi who clearly gave up on his life for imlie. On the other side, imlie who gave up her exam. Adi knows that to imlie her career matters the most.

But after today's incident, I think they both had an introspection like Imlie realised what adi meant to her. Like she said no matter with whom he lives, he should be happy. She was shattered to see him in his death bed. 🥺

Adi was little conscious when everyone was forcing imlie to leave for exam but she completely denied and said I can't leave him. So I guess he heard her. He may realised he does matter to imlie. Directly kuch nhi bola but still inke actions indirectly inke dil ko chu gye.❤️

He also murmured hum moon ko cheat nhi karna chahte the. Lol iska guilt kam nhi hone kabhi. Chalo 2 din baad moon ka naam bhi liya isne. Meethi said apki moon idhar hai. 😆Imlie's face dropped. I think she mistook his words. That's why she said in precap, BS belongs to malini didi only. So she still thinks he loves only malini. 🥺

Malini madam called editor sahab to find out whereabouts of adi since she had a nightmare about adi being in some kind of danger. I kind of see it coming. The truth about adi has to come out from editor only. Since he is the only one knows adi has gone for some personal work.

So malini got 440 watt shock. lol. Adi has not gone to Jamshedpur but somewhere else. 😆

I enjoyed the shock on everyone's face.

Inke sanskari bete ke new faces reveal hone lag gye hain. 🤣

What's wrong with NN? 😕 She was spewing poison today. Adi is gonna die, yamraj is coming to get him, call Tripathi's and tell them imlie has become widow. Like that was pure evil. 🤢😈 But I absolutely loved imlie tied cloth on her mouth and hands to shut her up. 😆 Thanks imlie, I couldn't bear her either.

Lastly, doctor came and inject adi the antidote. After a while, adi woke up. He was fine. Imlie took a sigh of relief. 😊 The way adi looked at her and imlie smiling back at him. I was like is this new version of adi. 😲 I hope he has got all his answers.👍🏼

The next week precap/promo. Omg. 😲 bawaal macha dega yeh toh. 😳 During shiv pooja, pandit telling imlie to say her full name but she only said imlie. She was thinking in her head, adi belongs to malini, she can't snatch malini's wifey haq. 🥺

But aila. Adi came in the picture, he put his hand under Imlie's hand and said her name is imlie aditya kumar tripathi, they both looked at each other with intensity. 😳Uff the sajna song played. I am shook right now. 😲😳 I am speechless.

Yeh snake toh cupid nikla. 😎 Excited for Monday's episode. Waise yeh precap mein bar bar dekh sakti hun. I won't be annoyed by it like last precap/promos. 😳

I am happy about the understated epi too and they still kept it short and aaj hi hosh main ke aaaye adi ko though I was on verge of throwing somebody off the cliff..yes adi mentioned moon but one could clearly see how it on a very generic level to ask for a forgiveness before his time is up. He still kept giving imlie those longing and almost apologetic looks it was as if he wished to get some more time with her.. I really am craving for a one to one and I hope we get it on Monday where they talk about this before the big declaration.. yup so much for she doesn't care for me.. and taking one for her good future. The whole thing once again reinforced doesn't matter how bad in shape he is he can sail through u til she is around as if she is actually his oxygen and the moment she walks away he stop breathing loses his entire consciousness aaj bhi wohi hua kisi na kisi tarah nikal lia time until she was a t home and as soon as she stepped out he was out only to gain semi consciousness when she came back to say a generic sorry and tell his last wish k3 aise nahi jaana chahte thay.. Imlie bechari was too struck and taken aback for few moments yet I loved her keeping herself in total control. Seriously what is this girl made up if.. nerves of steel.. she not only managed to keep him up herself in control but also managed NN in between wow

Adi had sukoon when he woke up it was like all he wanted his entire life was for this only there was a serenity he might have had moon as his last dying thought to ask for forgiveness she sure doesn't seem to be the one he wants to start his new life with.. his eyes searched for imlie

I don't want to say a lot about Malini 😆.....but it sort of got proven again what a weak minded person she is....literally not a steady thought in her head to manage a situation.....entire epi went in "I will call Adi, I won't call him - he better call me first, oh I had a nightmare he might be in danger but I still won't call him....ok now I'll call him....ok now I won't call him again cuz I found out he lied to his boss"....WTF😆

Her hurt would be valid on learning he lied to her but the whole aggrieved victim grand act she puts on by declaring to his family she won't call him cuz she doesn't trust him anymore😕😆.....what kind of behavior is this to manage anything?

I liked that atleast Aparna tried to give her some rational response on how trust shouldn't evaporate so easily....and then again the moment she said that, Malini was suddenly agreeing with that too.....WTF again....do you have ANY mind of your own, woman? Ridiculous.

What a contrast ki yeh so called "premonition of doom" ke baad bhi apna hi sochti reh gayi ki main call nahin karungi and wahaan Adi-Imlie were both being selfless in their thoughts....thinking of doing something for someone ELSE rather than sitting and pouting ki main call nahin karungi

Aur uss drama queen ka mujhe kuch nahi bolna ....literally giving me headache her hubby lost aur nicely makeup kar ,so kar,nashta table paar hai ..no black circles also acche se soyi maharani poora bed jo mila ..going ahead abse she will be alone on bed ...🤣

And t house wale yeah baat toh adi ko force nahi kar sakte 😉😆

The episode was a little annoying for me as it was going back and forth between malini and Adhi snake bite incident. I was trying to feel the snake bite impact but then it kept getting cut into the drama of the tripatis. I just wish they didn't edit it that way.

Well at least Malini knows that Adhi is lying to her. But i don't think the truth will come out anytime soon. I agree with @AreYaar that the precap could be just him accepting because he is in PD. So i am not having my hopes up.

Imlie missed her exam! I am so bummed. Hope she can make it up and not have to wait 1 year.

All in all it's a good week even thought i wouldn't rate this as a high episode.

Aditya inadvertently set in motion Imlie’s reaction to anything that he may try to express to her going forward. She has always been on Malini’s side but his words today was the final nail in Aditya/Malini being a cemented conclusion for her.

There is no turning back for Aditya. He is not going to go back as the Aditya his family knew, Malini thought she knew. His reference to Malini may have been in guilt but his eyes looked for Imlie as soon as he recovered and his thoughts before becoming unconscious was about Imlie. He will now take her to the exam hall himself? Bahut hi kamzor saanp tha woh

The Ts still refuse to think about their son even for a moment. All they can kosofy is his lie but no one thinks his life could be in actual danger. Aparna tried but she felt more sad when she thought Malini was potentially in harm’s way. Weird dynamics. Malini started out feeling something was not ok and then conveniently forgot about it. Was his lie so much bigger than her feeling that he could be in trouble?

Precap looks too good to be true. He might say it out loud some place. Not sure it is going to be in front of the whole village though. Is that reaffirmation in her faith reason enough for Imlie to return?

All in all a good week.

The episode was not the best one of this week but it still was a good end to a string of beautiful episodes. Today's episode was about Aditya and his rebirth as you mentioned but also the contrast that they showed between the reactions of his two wives.

So the show started with both being upset with Aditya, one because he left and the other because he asked her to leave. They both were angry with him and both had epiphanies that Aditya's life is in danger The contrast was in the varying reactions from both of them. Imlie did not care about her most cherished dream and choose to come back, just to check if he is all right whereas Malini was still stuck on her ego. She still choose to be angry and was not ready to even call him to check if he was all right after her terrifying dream. The family had to force her to do it.

Next was the heartbreak: Imlie heard Aditya thinking only of Malini and of his regret that he did not talk to her on his deathbed. It hurt her, it had an impact on her but she did not waver in her determination to keep him alive. It did not matter to her what his feelings are or that she does not have a space in his life. All she cared about was that he is her husband and he cannot die. She kept trusting that nothing will happen to him going as far as taking Durga roop for NN just because she dared to say that he will die.

At the same time, on the other side, Malini faced her own heartbreak and realized that Aditya had lied to her. Her first thought was not that why did he lie, what was the need, being how truthful he is or that he might have gone on a secret mission for his work. No, her first thought was that she cannot trust him anymore. Its amazing really how her trust that was build over a period of 7 years is so feeble that its just took one word from his editor for it to crumble to pieces. Yes, he did lie to her but even a murderer is given a right to justify his actions before the court gives the verdict and this person is supposedly the love of her life. She became the judge and jury before listening to his justification. It took his mother (Oh...how I loved her here) to make her realize that her reaction is extreme and his life can be in danger. In short, for once think about him rather than herself

And we come to the last part of this contrast game, that is the wish. For Imlie, her prayer or wish was his safety, his well being even though he will always be far away from her, for Malini it was a question of whether he will come back to her. In short, one is selfless where her husband is concerned and the other so selfish.

The other part was the precap. During the Savitri pooja, we had discussed that these two never let any of their fight remain unresolved and nothing goes under the carpet. I am glad they continued it with their current disagreement. Their unresolved fight made Aditya so restless that he landed in PD. He wanted to resolve it and take her back home but was not sure what the problem was nor the solution. Imlie was adamant and was not ready to go back because he was not acknowledging her haq or right to her own beliefs. She never needed his public acknowledgement nor a paper acknowledgement. All she wanted was that, as she has accepted his choice, he accepts her own choice to walk her destined path with her destined name given to her by her Sita Maiyaa. The precap, IMO, is the culmination of their this fight. By accepting that her name is Imlie AKT, he is acknowledging her right to her belief that she will always be Imlie AKT and nothing and no one can change it. Not sure if this also means he is acknowledging her as his wife but lets see how they play that out. I think not...😊

Lastly, I think we just need to brace ourselves for Malini mahaanta overdose for next week and a guilt filled Aditya and a doubly guilt filled Imlie because of Aditya's deathbed declaration that he failed Malini. Every time when a family member reminds Aditya about his disappearance and how much he has hurt Malini, we will be seeing an Imlie who is going to go overboard for her Malini Didi.

I agree with your review.....Malini ke nonsensical tantrums really made the epi a chore to watch.....although atleast the story did move to her discovering Adi has lied about going somewhere from work.....I just don't get why this had to be dragged out through the whole epi and her main bechaari tantrums are getting more irritating.

Yeah I also don't think the truth is going to come out any time soon.....Malini will be upset about this lie from Adi but he will likely manaao her somehow when he comes back and they will continue on.

Imlie missed her exam but Adi will find a way to get her into college still I'm sure.....lol he will feel upset that she missed her exams cuz of him.

Yeah week was good overall, but today's epi was kinda average.

Precap is just one sign of how Adi will start supporting Imlie more going forward I think....he may not be able to give her the status of wife in Delhi yet but he will support her more.

Agreed that malinis character has been made to swing between wildly irrational and extremely logical. The writers are confused i think. They cannot decide between keeping her gray (humka logic chahi crowd) and making her completely black (trp aunties ki jai ho), so pendulum ki tarah swing karake hum becharon ki patiencewa ki waat lagaa rahe hain. Thats what annoys me about her scenes, no offense to mayuri she is fabulous as a performer.

Adilie relationship progression has been a wonderful slow burn so far. I loved all their scenes today but the episode yesterday was just mind blowing.
