-episode kicks off w/ dp proposing gunnu/sattu as 10% partners for k&s bc they are akin to sons...chanchal asks about puttu & dp says he owes gunnu/sattu a huge favor therefore this bargain...sp says to ponder over once more & dp chastises him for getting booted out bc of believing ahuja..kusum signals to sp to remain there ...dp inculpates his daughters for the loss of the shop twice...he says they dont hearken him as to doing girl-like activities instead of financial/legal matters...

-kusum says girls could get offended by this..girls agree that dp is getting too much on their nerves...dp says bc they are boys they can handle the shop-related matters...susheela signals that dp is acting too pricey by having gunnu/sattu by his side & garima says dont say too much...

-dp & kusum says to gunnu/sattu to sign k&s partnership papers & they do so followed by kusum feeding them sweets...they almost egress the scene when they overhear dp commanding kusum to tell the girls to concentrate on their studies & household related chores..

-girls discuss why dp has such stupid orthodox views through this partnership BS ..garima reminisces their past efforts for the betterment of k&s..susheela gives the "eh?" look...garima destroys the mirror through which her mind was speaking about getting k&s partnership bc he's a guy...susheela says he's oblivious to the fact that garima/susheela were disguised as gunnu/sattu to take charge of the show so garima says they will run it as their usual self by changing to their original counterparts...

-they embrace this change through hanging out together...they talk about how they should gracefully accept their passions...

-girls notice an inauguration of a new shop by a guys name lucly ...avtar is requested to cut the ribbon...it turns out to be nightie selling store much to ppl's shock & chagrin..jaga jasus notice this & satbir compliments it as his audacity to open up such shop in HB...the shop owner asks for conflicts pertaining to this shop...ppl protest against such kind of shop...girls get exasperated by this mentality & decide not to compromise their dreams & k&s bc of this..

-dp gets wind of this scenario...girls tell chachi & kusum of this scenario...lucky barges in by getting one of his store statues wearing a nightie..he says whats the ppl's problem w/ selling nighties ...sp covers the statue w/ a blanket...avtar says that he would incur loss bc of lucky...dp says he's worried about roadside romeos proliferating in the streets of hb...lucky defends that there are places who sell even more see through clothes...kusum tells them to be quiet for the time being...dp prohibits lucky from running his shop..

-precap: girls team up w/ lucky to ensure they get permission to run the shop...they think of making k&s a unisex salon...

just short clips - the rejuvenation wali feels ❤️ made me feel like lowkey i was in the streets of chandnichowk or when you are attending street fairs/carnivals or something like that...those small shops have their own authentic vibes <3 ...the coloring was sorta an experimental lol😆not the best but ehh, the nuances/vibes are more important !

Thanks for the daily updates Meena !

I know all this is fiction, but it's really irritating and depressing to watch the way they get insulted on a daily basis without anyone in their family recognizing the girls for their talent, courage and initiatives to save K&S.

And why are they still silent? They don't have to reveil to anyone about gunnu/Sattu secret, but they can very well stake claim to K&S as it's ansestral property and they are the actual bread winners in the family. Its not like it would strain their family relationships which already seems only one sided.

They have absolutely no respect in that house. Anyone can walk in and give them a lecture and they will be asked to be in their limit as girls.

And isn't there any law which governs opening stores? Why is the president the king here? It was only a nightwear shop and not something like liquor shop which might be restricted for some locations. What happens to all the investment done into the shop? Why is orthodox thinking ruling the business area?

Sorry for the rant, but the girls suffering through this daily is highly disappointing. No matter how much they love their family and wish to help during a family crisis, it shouldn't be at the cost of their self respect.

And why are they still silent? They don't have to reveil to anyone about gunnu/Sattu secret, but they can very well stake claim to K&S as it's ansestral property and they are the actual bread winners in the family. Its not like it would strain their family relationships which already seems only one sided. honestly, on legal grounds for k&s, it is still technically dp's property so he has the liberty to do what he wants as he's not deceased yet...naturally, yes the offsprings would be expected to acquire the property but there are laws which allow the owner to decide to whom to bequeath the property..i know that for house property they have the legal right just like dp, sp & puttu thus it was pathetic for dp to decide the fate solely but for the shop, it's under dp's name...its shameful to see dp be inconsiderate but im not sure from legal perspective regarding k&s shop vs their household property which are 2 different things...someone correct me pls😆

They have absolutely no respect in that house. Anyone can walk in and give them a lecture and they will be asked to be in their limit as girls. yep, had it been any other person, they wouldve very quickly left the property ...

What happens to all the investment done into the shop? Why is orthodox thinking ruling the business area? lol, thats what i was questioning when lucky had the muncipal corp board permission, why he still had to be dragged. he could've used legal grounds to call the cops...unless there is some legal agreement one has to undergo (like w/ vikram coming home to acquire dp's signature in regards to avtar's shop wherein they do need hb's market association president's permission), then im not exactly sure tbh...dp could get imprisonment for this but im not sure why ppl are taking him so lightly...

No matter how much they love their family and wish to help during a family crisis, it shouldn't be at the cost of their self respect. no probs, i also wished that they do this more openly also, i think thats why they were showing thr ramifications they would have to undergoif they were to run their shop as their usual self w/ lucky's nightie selling shop...its just pathetic that dp just shuns his daughters more openly...

I think both the house and the shop are ansestral properties.

If the shop was bought and developed by DP alone with his own efforts then the girls would be able to claim it only if he himself gives it them (which of course he will never do ) or after his lifetime.

But here they keep referring to the shop as the part of foundation of Haathi Baazar. So my guess would be the shop itself has been passed down since many generations. If that's true, then even if it's in DP's name, all heirs can stake claim legally at anytime.

I don't know if they are doing proper checks reg the legal formalities. But they were clear when talking about the check issue with Jagat.

And how did Gunnu and Sattu just sign the document to get 10% share in K&S? Gunnu and Sattu are not even real persons. They can get into trouble for something like this. It can be considered as fraud.

Anyway let's see how they end up helping that Lucky guy.

Both on the bright side, the bonding between the twins is so amazing. They might be poles apart as far as their personalities are concerned. But they always understand each other's motivations and dreams.

as far as I know, there is a law in India that states; anyone in the family including the supposes of someone in the family (Chanchal Chachi/Kusum Ji) can claim a portion in ancestral property/business/land even if the owner DP doesn't want to give it up. it focuses on mostly land-related matters that is passed down from generation but if the matter goes to court I am sure they can claim it under their rights. This is also why I am confused as to why the twins are not approaching this in a legal fashion if they want to run the shop as women. they managed to make sure jagga jasoos didn't double-cross them using this method so why not now knowing bail-bhudha will never allow it.

gunnu and sattu didn't have a choice at that moment but yea they can get into trouble. how are the papers suppose to be approved in court if they are no proof of identification?

I am guessing DP is somewhat in power like a chairman of a community (Ronny having the power as chairperson of sunshine colony in BDSAH) so he gets a final say in the matter. but if lucky has the permission of a higher authority then it doesn't really matter.

it's vexing to see him not give puttu any credit in this. he doesn't know that puttu is not actually running the shop so how the hell can he just ignore the boy setting aside his studies because the "man of the house." had a broken arm and wasn't able to provide for his family. people say taking credit getting credit is not important. I say it not too but getting appreciation and recognized for your effectors is way more important.

giving the share is so stupid. the dude is bankrupt, barely making ends meet, cant earn anything. still, he has the audacity to preach and blame them for almost losing the shop. I am truly appalled by how delusion he is.

kudos to SP for still treating DP as ram after getting insulted in front of outsiders. matlab self-respect to hai hi nahi bande main. I am not blind. I can see the cracks starting to form but SP needs to stand up to DP. if not for himself, then his son and wife who he has failed on countless occasions. he claims to be worried about puttu's future but when it really mattered, when he really needed to be a father, he let him down once again. as a husband, this was his chance to give chanchal a reason to not give up on him but yet again proves how useless and unreliable he is. the fact that Chanchal and puttu have stopped reacting to these things really goes to show how they are used to it (that is not okay). I may sound harsh but I have seen the effects of all of these first hand and so I am telling you it is not as simple and the moment is not as fleeting as it seems.

the scene also shows how much of a support kusum has been to her husband even when he didn't know or appreciate it (signalling SP to stay). makes me love her more.

Kusum Ji is becoming the mother I always wanted her to be. standing up to jagga jasoos and now DP. I am thrilled. she is thriving where SP is failing.

the twins have a lot of patience man. I know that you can't really unlove someone especially when that someone is your family. but when that someone repeatedly hurts you, it better to let go rather than keep ripping open the wound. so I really hope they leave DP to make him realise how the very family he wants to so badly control is no longer with him because of his own mistakes.

Susheela had reached her breaking point way earlier albeit in a different way (going against all rational to escape from ruhail household). the moment the mirror shattered Garima reached her breaking point and I felt it. that moment the conflict with her identity was resolved and the clarity at that moment was beautifully captured through the reflection of the 4 of them in one frame. this was the moment of realisation that they had to become Garima Susheela to change the mentality of people.

it was such a funny and nice moment when they were skipping around the elephant bazaar. a well-deserved break form teh melodrama at home.

it took me a good 1 minute to realise why the people in the elephant bazaar were wailing like unki saas mar gayi after the inauguration. I mirror the expression to the twins when epiphany finally hit. I am actually impressed by the writers as well with the approach they are taking. the nightie shop was a small, different but effective method to really bring out the kind of 19th-century mentality they have. it shows u just how much struggle lies ahead for the girls.

the road Romeo excuse was the dumbest I've heard in a while. itni prolem hai toh beton ko sudaro. lucky ka jeena kyu haram kar rahe ho. DP needs to get his head out of his ass.

on a side note;

I dont know if any of you have read the book 'I've never been (un)happier. in it, there was a scenario mentioned by shaheen wherein she was told to stand aside from Alia and pooja. that moment of shame and humiliation had been one of her triggers to her body image issues.

in this whole situation, I can't help but be reminded of it. the situation is not the same I know. but if such small incidents can cost someone their mental health, then what effect does the daily humiliation in the ruhail household have on the kids?

Well first of all you describe beautifully .

Second , I too wants to applaud The twins for being patience. Today there was a moment when susheel said" now I have to become boy again" A girl who is treated like a step daughter by his own father , the daughter who has let go her dream for her family etc is not even appreciated for a bit.

I feel Susheel and Garima have come to a point where they are going away from the family , there is no place for love and respect . That is the male leads are there , ever wonder why pramod support her so much ?

I m liking kusum as a strong lady . Who is supporting her daughter's silently.

Well I guess , they already clear that this house is ancestors property that means it's neither dharampal nor shishupal house.

Second , Shishupal stupid act and now his strict nature is annoying me. You want your child to become officer , have they seen his broken english ?? Have they saw how poor he is in study ? He is a mobile addict person who is attach 24/7 with his mobile . He wanted to become a vlogger but puttu disinterest in studies make me feel like why they cannot sit with him and talk like his friends for once .

Twins are already doing so much , there is nothing tobe blamed about it .
