Actually in Veer-Ranisa scene today, they focused the camera on their hands when he released her hand from his grip. May be Veer will let go of this Ranisa obsession soon

The question started with "I did everything I could but if by chance if he wasn't released". If you are veer, you have no reason to believe ramadeer will get death penalty. Why? Because ranisa did everything. In the worse case scenario he will get a few years in prison.

If ramadeer gets death penalty he won't keep his promise. Even after the attack he wouldn't. In both these scenarios suspicion should rise. Veer will not let ramadeer die. Don't be fooled by his words. He is an idiot. Remember he doesn't know what we know.

He keeps his promises to Rani Sa until Rani's life is in danger, but when her life or reputation is at stake he breaks promises he kept for Rani Sa.

Rani Sa never expects Rani to get hurt either. Plus what we have analyzed regarding Veer she has not. Only thing she knows Veer can break his promises at any time but she doesn't know when.
