Completely agree with every word of yours.
Going by what we have been shown so far, I don't think that Raghav was always like this, but some experiences in his life have led to him thinking that without money and power, you are nothing.
Because we also see that despite his bad experience in love or with a girl, he still holds love high in egards. So we need the backstory to completely understand what has happened that led to this situation in Raghavs life.
But once Raghav starts learn to trust again and he sees that Pallavi will stick with him through thick & thin, my gosh than we will get to see a different Raghav...........a Raghav who will move heaven and earth for Pallavi and who will protect her at all cost.
That is the journey I signed up for and hopefully we will get.

Raghav has trauma, so his natural inclination post that is forcefully holding onto people he cares for or cage them, from the impulse of protecting them. He lost his father and brother, so isiliye he is so domineering, impulsive, egoist. But for others it comes across as coercion. Be it his mom, sister or later Pallavi.
Somebody has to understand that about him and act on it accordingly, which naturally Pallavi will do.
Sometimes, I just see the male Maya Mehrotra in him, and Arjun in Pallavi. Just hope a male Saanjh does not make an entry, cause Maya to villain thi, lekin yahaan apna hero, aag laga dega uske sansaar me.😆
