Preity's a hurt woman
Preity Zinta is a hurt woman these days for two reasons. Firstly, she's got herself a black eye after her bodyguard's elbow hit her in the eye when he tried to protect her from the crowd frenzy during the launch of her Mohali team in Chandigarh last week. And if this was not enough, the Dehradun girl who loves to don traditional Punjabi attire could not do so on the day of Baisakhi. The other day, our dimpled actress made an appearance in a Baisakhi special show called Dhoom Macha De. Apparently, the producers had requested Preity to don a traditional Punjabi salwar kameez to blend with the occasion. However, Preity who loves to wear traditional ensemble on special occasions could not do so since she was advised by the doctor to wear dark glasses to protect her injured eye. Not wanting to make a fashion faux pas by matching her glasses with jazzy Indian wear, Ms Zinta opted to go casual with a Kings XI t-shirt and a pair of jeans. So for all those who were complaining about Preity's attire for the evening, it't time to put their hands together and cheer for the brave lady.
