Yeah i realised after watching the episodes, i tried to connect but feels at all. But it comes across as all hyped when i read the articles or the offscreen segments.

Sairat was never hyped anywhere. Its an audience choice pair (no doubt makers did build them).

I haven't followed ITV shows for the last 5-6 years. Does any romantic ITV shows fetch good TRPs now a days??

I mean I have seen few clips of YRKkh where the leads have romantic scences and I heard that the show used to be TRP topper, not sure though. Can anyone let me know this???

Nope it were from before, but i think they wanted to hype both the pair and let the audience decide. But the way they showed it from the start, i think audience never connected with Vahini atleast i didnt and i still dont. But i do understand the context of what she goes through....the character i mean. Till she has dialogues i get her point.........uske baad rab ke hawale (expressions to samjh hi nahi aate).

Her motto is simple in life, she is suffering hence Virat should also suffer. How can he be happy.

That’s why it’s annoying when they give so much importance to a 2 day yoga love. Like it’s match made in heaven. Even the 2 episodes or 4 I never got any good chemistry vibes. I was like if they are end game I won’t stick with this show. The way they directed the scenes or their onscreen chemistry. Something didn’t click for me.

Aishwarya in an interview told that they didn’t show much of virakhis romance because they didn’t want the audience to get attached and start loving them

Cos of their chemistry ( paraphrasing a bit )

Chemistry is seen between actors in any scene and it does not have to be romantic. Sairat are now getting miniscule romantic scenes compared to what Virat Pakhi got in just 4 episodes. IN spite of having romantic scenes there was no chemistry. I used to think i am the only one who thinks that way 🤓

They could have shown an extended version of their love story but don't think it clicked with anyone. They actually got the marriage track faster in just 50 episodes.
