I just wanted to get this short one out of the way since I’d already written it. It was in my head so it flew easily.
The next update will be a long one so that won’t come anytime soon.

Sara rocked it on the stage. Ryan gave her her talent back. Hope her parents do talk to her and get things cleared up. The hurt may never go away, but the healing can begin.

Sara has to decide what she wants. Ian didn't even care to watch her perform. Even if he did watch, he would not have considered it worth his time. He can't ever appreciate her for who she is. If she wants Ryan, then she needs a clean break from Ian.

Such a revelation about Jai. His family has no clue. All this time he has been so protective about Sara, but living with his own painful secret.

Poor Jen. She already has a negative body image. Now the feeling of rejection on top of that. She needs a lot of TLC from her loved ones.

The biggest surprise of this chapter. Robert actually came and told his son he was wrong about him.

This family needed this big time. Apologies have been made all around and accepted. Now they begin to become a family that shares everything.

Yes Robert had to realize this about his son, and in this case it took Jen's crisis to make him see the light. I think Robert realizes how much he's ended up alienating his own daughter, such that she doesn't feel like she can talk to him about anything. Ryan is the only one she feels close to, even though he hasn't been physically present in her life until recently. He tries. And Jen responds because she can tell he cares. That's Ryan's success. And Robert finally sees it. Winning at life and relationships can be more important that being famous and making a ton of money!

Yes, and the worst part is Ryan cannot tell her why Jai rejected her. It's up to Jai to tell her or not. Perhaps that's a conversation that needs to happen soon. And that's just given me an idea for the next update! So thanks for that comment!

Yes his family has no clue and he thought it easier to tell Ryan. It's true sometimes with big reveals- it's easier to talk to someone from outside than to tell close family. And coming out is a deeply personal thing. No one should be forced to do it. Ryan was right in telling Jai he doesn't need to say anything. Under the circumstances he was kind of forced to tell Sara. It's clear he wasn't ready.
