I also feel the same. I also feel that the fate of Amrit and Vashma exchanged with the mehndi rubbing: Vashma was to be the one rebelling against parents for love while Amrit to be the one complying with father’s wishes and leaving her love but now Vashma had to do this and eventually Bauji won’t agree but Randhir Amrit will still get married : whether they get separated during partition or some other reason but Amrit’s fathers blessings won’t be with her somehow
