@bold - no doubt. But by then 🌙 will have firmly implanted herself over Imlie’s planet chart. She may forgive him but forget probably not. And the only way she can jatao that will be by making Malini front and center of their conversations. Malini is going to be the reason both Aditya and Imlie oscillate for a long time. Coming to Malini-Aditya scene, I am so mad at the makers that they wasted such a beautiful scene yesterday. They should have just banked it because it had zero impact after the high volatile scene between Imlie and Aditya. There was really no need for it as we already know that Malini trusts him implicitly. That whole conversation was completed in the restaurant so this scene just seemed out of place. PS: I really liked the samosa scene where the guy had to remind him that he was thinking of his wife and he had to force himself to think about Malini and call her and he says Malini is his "moon, star world" ...Kab aankhein khulegi iski.

@bold: LOL yes, I also found it really odd that they were promoting a scene which basically got rendered totally moot in the epi😆.....it did nothing for the status quo. While the Adi-Imlie scene was the real turning point in the epi and there was not even a peep on it....haha....that said, I'm glad we didn't get footage before it aired cuz I enjoyed watching that scene firsthand.....it made more impact. The Adi-Malini scene was a foregone conclusion by the time it aired.

Adi managed to think so much about Imlie in one epi....so by the usual flip logic of the writers, ab yeh agle 2-3 epis mein Imlie ke baare mein zyada nahin soch sakta and will do extra Moon jaap to make up for it😛🤣.....J/K.....haha

LOL Moon has already planted herself beyond firmly in both Imlie and Adi's planet charts....aur kitna bacha hai? 😆 Ismein bhi koi nayi baat nahin ki Imlie will do Malini jaap.....woh toh already usmein tough competition deti hai Adi ko😆.

The real question is about what Adi's reaction will be when Imlie tries to deflect by placing Malini at the center of every convo even after a supposed shift in their equation....will he give his usual blank expression, will it be a majboor/guilty expression or will he finally be fed up one day and burst out with a STOP😆?

That is why they did it maybe? They knew it would get completely overshadowed and the only way it would get its due was if they promoted it in isolation. It had zero impact in the episode.

One takeaway from their conversation yesterday for Imlie was him saying that she needs to get her own husband. Up until now Malini was one of the few people who treated her like a human being and saved her from Aditya’s anger so she was grateful and had started forming a bond because of that. Now that Aditya put his and Malini’s marriage explicitly in between their equation, she is going to use that as a shield to make sure her changing feelings are quelled, if the talk did not already do that.

While her bond with Aditya has to strengthen so does her bond with Malini because she is her sister

Yes, I am happy we had no clue about the Adilie it so it was really a big surprise and had the most imapct. It was a beautiful scene. At the end, the way Aditya just gave up was so him. He knew he had goofed up and he had no way to bring it to the point where he started it. I do not know if it was intentional on the makers side but he was using everything that had he uses on Malini to convince her to this way of thinking but just kept digging her hole for himself and in the end, it was like "chodo".

Then, that scene on the bike where he is trying again to convince it was not his intention and she had already moved on with her resolve. I loved how she totally ignored him, It must be novel experience for him and hopefully makes him realize that these are how relationships are, not the ones filled with ehsaan, zimmadari and guilt.

@bold: Yes, I am ready for his flip flop, moon jap, groveling, guilt etc. Aditya ka koi bharosa nahin, but the only thing I am happy about that this time it was all in his conscious mind so hopefully unlike last time bridge scene, they do show him with amnesia where he conveniently forgets about his emotions and talk with Imlie 😊

I actually viewed it differently. My main takeaway wasn't that Adi put his and Malini's marriage between their equation....that is nothing new....that has been his stance since day one. But yes, Imlie was definitely hit harder by his line that she find another husband....so her hurt right now isn't that he accused her of coming between him and Malini (which is something he has anyways been repeating for 100 epis).....her hurt right now is that he tried to render her belief/her faith moot and made her feel like she needs to find another partner simply so that she doesn't hang on to him.

The issue at stake is whether or not Adi can adjust around Imlie's belief system....she for her part has managed to adjust around his beliefs, his choices....but he hasn't and his choice of words invariably makes her feel hurt because he cannot even give her that much understanding.

What is left for the "sisterly" bond to strengthen on? LOL that's like saying the Adi-Malini bond has to strengthen.....both these "bonds" have already reached the pinnacle of their scope....aage kuch nahin hai in relationships mein to deepen. The sisters are already joined at the hip....aur kitna chipkengi? 😆....Malini ki jitni personality hai, uske hisaab se there is nothing remaining to strengthen in either relationship.

Adi-Imlie are the ones that need scope to grow right now if the story lets them.

It might one day reach there but he is going to get daily lessons on how selfless she is and how much he has done wrong by doing his PDA in front of her. We might even see him feeling weird when Malini tries to be extra romantic in front of everyone and he is totally embarrassed by seeing Imlie in front.

I still do not think we will get realization as of yet but definitely a lot of progress in their relationship, like all the things that were making us mad, will now make him mad and irritated like PDA, Imlie's moon jaap etc.

@bold: 🤣 That is just SO hard to imagine from Adi right now.....the guy has shown NIL se bhi neeche consideration for Imlie in any situation toh I think I'll just faint with shock if he ever feels awkward with Malini cuz of Imlie😆.

Only time he's brushed off Malini ke romantic gestures was when he was angry with her over the car thing.....never anything to do with Imlie😆

+1... She was Ok with everything, every daanth , every insult, even him choosing another partner till he got the point out that find another partner. That is a total no for her and he, even after their last hospital conversation or the pooja conversation, is not ready to understand is what explicated that hurt.

She really, till date has not asked him for anything not even education. Even that was his choice. Her only ask has been that do not ask, request or tell to give up her faith or her belief. Rest all she can manage and endure. Today he crossed the line and that left her in a shock, because he could not even fulfill her this small wish.

For me, Malini and Imlie is not a sisterly bond. Its more like a ehsaan -gratitude bond. Malini is Ok being nice to Imlie as long as it does not affect her relationship or bring her appreciation but the moment it affects her, she did not even care or tried to defend Imlie in front of her mother. Thats not sisterly bond or any kind of bond.
