The day never seems to follow usual cycle of morning noon evening night. Family went to dinner, Imli Adi had a conv near his bike in broad daylight, he tells Malini to sleep and not wait up - finished his story and again jielbi and kidnapping in broad daylight. :(

He is aware of it subconsciously, not consciously. That is why he got uncomfortable when his colleague pointed out that he must be thinking about his wife that he's smiling so much.....lol Adi rarely allows himself to consciously reflect on Imlie that way cuz if he did, many more similarities will become apparent. He wants to consciously focus on their differences to ensure a distance between them and keep reinforcing the impossibility of any future for them together.

Re: the cycle....no actually it was clearer to me after the epi.....Family went for lunch, Adi-Imlie had the convo in the evening, then they got home and Adi-Malini had their convo in the late evening/early night.....after which Adi left to work at the office all night....then he's coming back home in the morning from the office when he gets kidnapped.

This is why Imlie is still in the same clothes cuz she left in the middle of the night and I guess was waiting for the bus in the morning when she saw Adi get kidnapped.

Saw the video. Still not sure whether he saw her or not. He fainted in the end. Imlie was also hiding from him throughout his rescue. 🤓

Also with malini idk I am confused 😕 was he showing emotion for what malini said or what she said plus what happened with imlie made him have a weak moment for a few secs I'd like to bekeive larer that the confrontation with inlie was already disturbing him and it was the aftereffects of hurting her caz he already came in the room hurt and with teary eyes over what happened with imlie one could seee his eyes being filled with tears pehle se toh I guess malini ke baat just chalkaooed them when he was confused and upset pehle se over hurting imlie which is why as soon as he gets done with malini ko sahan buddhi dena he went to imlie ka door to once again makeup when notice he was in hurry to get to office kaaboo nahi kar paaya and phir se iske kadam jaise khichte gaye...

LOL tum humesha Adi ko bahut credit dena chahti ho😆.....no, I don't think any of his emotions in the scene with Malini had anything to do with a hangover from the scene with Imlie. Isko full guilt feel ho raha tha of Malini laying on the bhaar of her "bharosa" on him....bade bade heavy duty dialogues se overwhelm ho gaye Babusahib that she trusts him SO much😆....that is what the tears rolled out for.

Mujhe toh honestly woh chain of events hi bahut random lagaa ki he first went to Malini to talk to her, then randomly baahar aake again suddenly started thinking about Imlie again....lol it's not believable then....if the talk with Imlie was still on his mind, they should have shown some FB of it during the convo with Malini...but aisa kuch nahin tha....he was just shown ki ek se baat khatam karne ke baad phir randomly dusri ke baare mein sochna shuru😆.....I honestly felt nothing for his random attempt to go to Imlie's "room"....lol pointless ekdum. Isse zyada I enjoyed his random blurting out in the office when he ended up talking about Imlie in the flow of the moment😆.

I don't think he was talking about the PD visit necessarily there😆....his point was more about how Imlie reminded him about the value of his work...that is the "raasta"/path he was talking about....that Imlie reminded him no matter how difficult the path is, sahi raaste pe chalna nahin chhodna chahiye....and then he went on saying ki phir humein samajh aaya ki aise raaste pe chalke hi humein apne jaise log milte hain....by "yeh raasta agar chunte nahin", I think he was talking more about the raasta of justice.....lol ki he pursued justice/truth and us raate mein use Imlie mil gayi😆

He is finding a kindered spirit in Imlie but he refuses to consciously face that fact....and finds a 100 different ways to invalidate it. It should ideally all come back to bite him some day.....lol only time will tell.

@bold - I have to up the 50 episode quota to 150 now 😆 The rate at which Aditya tends to forget what he did in the previous scene it will take that many episodes and by that time Imlie might just have decided to start spouting the zimmedari dialogue herself.

They made him promise Malini yesterday for a reason. That promise will ensure he continues to invalidate his and Imlie’s bond in the future. But I do not know it will matter anymore because Imlie is probably just plain pakaaoed already by his shenanigans. If her reaction to his word vomit yesterday was any indicator.

I remember one of the members suggested in an earlier post that both Imlie and Aditya are cut from the same cloth. I agree. Imlie grew up under Satyakam's chatrachaya. He has been her guiding light throughout her life. Satyakam and Adi are essentially made of the same mettle when it comes to their profession, what they are fighting for - the greater good. Everything becomes secondary when they are fighting for justice for other ppl. Imlie is the same. Ever since they met, Imlie has always been on Aditya's side in his quest for justice. Every story he covered, every mission he has been on since he met Imlie, she has been on his side and has helped him one way or the other. It's not that Imlie is doing this only for him, this is essentially who Imlie is as a person. They see something that is worth fighting for and they both dive in without a second thought.

That's why when Aditya said yesterday that "our path should never have crossed", he is wrong. Most probably he would have met Imlie somewhere along the way because their journey is towards the same goal. Yes, he then maybe wouldn't be married to Imlie and would have happily lived his life with Malini (in their bubble), but my guess is Imlie and Aditya still would have met at their work space, essentially because of who they are.

That's why I didn't have any problem when Aditya was sitting so closely at the restaurant to Imlie and neither of them had any romantic inclination, because they were on a mission. Again, Imlie is the same as Aditya and they were following a very important story and everything else is secondary. This is the difference between "Imlie and Aditya" and "Aditya and Malini". Aditya and Maini is all about romance, flowers, strawberry/chocolate cakes, parties. It's superficial like a shiny coin. Whereas, Aditya and Imlie connect at a much deeper level, like the coin Imlie gave to Aditya or the Moti roti that Aditya loves so much. They don't need romanticism, flowers, dates (I wouldn't mind though smiley36). Their relationship is much deeper and genuine.

Aditya is going to become increasingly torn because fate gave him something so precious as a gift, whereas he chose something shiny and superficial for himself. So, what does he do?

What an emotion packed episode!! Its so rare to see Imlie in this form where she actually get her pain out in words that it really leaves one reeling on how much this little girl is enduring with a smile on her face. The direction, the acting, the dialogues were all so apt in that scene and kudos to the whole team.👍🏼

Today was a clash of ideals and was so beautifully done. From two days, Aditya has been mocking Imlie's faith that "Sita Maiyaa" is omnipotent. I am not saying that he does not trust in God but he is person who thinks that one has to crave their own path. Imlie believes that one has to put in the effort but the path is decided by her Sita Maiyya. This is the point where though very similar they are different. Yes, they have same values, same ethics, same strength, same motivation but their beliefs are different. Hence, where Imlie believes that marriage is the path that Sita Maiyaa chose for her and she has to walk on it, Aditya believes that he can choose his own path which is why we see him choosing to walk with Malini. But this foolish, naïve and dense person does not know that though he thinks he is walking with Malini, he is always adjusting his footsteps to match Imlie or doing everything so that she matches her steps with him. Bailbuddhi no 1.

Today, he totally misjudged the depth of her belief and though his intentions were good by his own standards or thinking, they were totally wrong for her. Imlie has never forced him to walk by her side or be her companion. All she wanted was to walk this path that her SM has shown her and wants to be his silent companion and continue to achieve her dreams. She does not want him to acknowledge their relationshop but not even take it away from her and this is where Aditya went wrong. At this point, I am just remembering Aditya's words from the other day ki "Ghayal panchi ko pinjara mein bandh karna hain". I think Imlie is very hurt, ghayal by his statement to find a new partner so now this time, if Aditya wants to bring her back, it will require his total commitment and respect to her belief that he is the only suhaag for her in this life (and bigamy is not for Imlie 😆) Well, this is what we called a compromise in married life. Imlie has already made it by accepting Malini in his life without any questions, now its Aditya's turn to fully accept Imlie's choice and never question it again

Coming to Malini-Aditya scene, I am so mad at the makers that they wasted such a beautiful scene yesterday. They should have just banked it because it had zero impact after the high volatile scene between Imlie and Aditya. There was really no need for it as we already know that Malini trusts him implicitly. That whole conversation was completed in the restaurant so this scene just seemed out of place. Anyways, the take away was that Malini is never going to question Aditya. She will always choose to wear her glasses even when the truth is staring her in the face and Aditya will have be the one to force her to ask the questions.

Tables are turning where before we always had Aditya thinking about Moon, now even after his tear-filled intense conversation with Malini, his next thought was not Malini, not work but Imlie's pain and hurt and how he wanted to negate it. Well, BS it will take much more effort than just buying samosas😆

PS: I really liked the samosa scene where the guy had to remind him that he was thinking of his wife and he had to force himself to think about Malini and call her and he says Malini is his "moon, star world" ...Kab aankhein khulegi iski.

LOL that would be hilarious if Imlie was as pakaaoed by his shenanigans as we are😆.....but I don't know how long her current resolve will last....she's usually a softie and agar phir se Sita Maiyya ne koi chamatkaar kar ke isko waapis Babusahib ke saamne patak diya toh yeh use bhi accept kar legi😆.

Lovely analysis you've posted here, Mayuri :) .....

I completely agree that Imlie and Adi are cut from the same cloth when it comes to the pursuit of truth/justice and that is what animates both of them.....Adi is so used to flying solo on this mission of his that I think he still finds it strange when he sees Imlie having the same zeal as him and even more than his zeal sometimes in wanting to pursue justice. He tries to dismiss it as youthful impulse and idealism in her case but he doesn't seem to realize that she has more shades beyond the ones he tries to box her in. Yes, she is youthful and idealistic but she is also courageous enough to handle many dangerous situations that would have defeated people double her age.

So I do agree with your point that given their similarities, the likelihood was very much there that their paths would have crossed somewhere sooner or later....if not in PD, then somewhere else later....but they were destined to cross paths, contrary to Adi's presumptions. He is determined to dismiss PD and all the incidents that happened there as an outlier in his well planned life....he is dead wrong on that and he will learn it the hard way.

Re: the restaurant scene....lol I don't think you're understanding why it looked weird....no one is saying that Adi-Imlie weren't in mental sync there since they were focused on their mission and none of the gestures were romantic....but even then, it really wasn't needed for Adi to cup her face even as a part of that scenario....that's all.

They don't really have a relationship right now....what they have is an EQUATION😆.....and yes, it's more genuine than anything he shares with Malini.....for this to grow into a relationship would require Adi to move beyond his usual tendency of staying in his own head or burying his head in the sand. I just find it really funny that for a supposed grown/mature couple, Adi-Malini's relationship is still so dependent only on flowers/romantic gestures/flowery speeches😆.......Adi-Imlie suposedly have so much disparity between them otherwise but they share something raw and real that anyone with half a brain can see. Obviously Adi-Malini can't fall in that category😆
