Kartik is super relatable & the kids are f'ed!

WHY does Sirat only have to talk in boxing analogies? WHO talks like that? Has Gul Khan taken over Director's Kut now?

But everytime she does, Kartik is hyper relatable 🤣 He looks so irritated everytime, like she's some kid he wants to smack 😂 Living for all the times he told her to stop talking about boxing in the middle of serious situations 🤣

Next, the kids in the show have such messed up lives!

Vansh: Bio father is dead. Adoptive father is abusive and absentee. Mother has lost her sanity.

Krish: God kidnapped by maamu at birth. Spent years with father first depressed & then away because of Naira's fake death drama. Parents almost got divorced. Now father is barely functional.

Kairav: No doubt the kid is always sick. He has one of the most messed up childhoods on ITV.

Krishna: First got dumped by bio parents, then by mahaan adopted parents.

Akshu: Mother severely risked her life before she was even born. Now she only has a pair of traumatised father & brother who look after her. She's getting an unwanted child treatment for some reason because the joint family isn't enough to take care of her. They instead brought in a random Rhea.

Vatsal: The family anyway was treating him like a second class citizen after Akshu's birth. Now his father is absent & mother is dysfunctional.

Such a far cry from the normal, wholesome childhoods we got with Naksh-Ananya-Yash (despite things like Naitik's coma & Shaurya's infidelity)

I only watched because of this post hearing kartik told her shut up peeked my interests🤣

We all said that the age & behaviour difference makes Sirat more of a child to Kartik rather than a spouse. He has actually been treating her that way & I love it. 😂 He literally scolds & gets irritated by Sirat like he does with Kairav. Or every adult with a petulant kid! 🤣

OMG same! I am living for the moments Kartik tells her to shut up and stop with the boxing references. Also his expressions! It’s like he’s just waiting for her to leave. Gotta give it to him though for still not snapping over the mere panch se sarpanch bi dare hai dialogue.

There are a few moments which I remember and loved:

- When he told her this isn’t your boxing ring but my child’s life

- When he just seemed over her and her tantrums when he came to apologise and she was insisting on having a fight

- The latest was during the ring fiasco. Poor guy was losing his mind over his wife’s lost ring and she was going on and on about her boxing.

Tbh, I don’t know how the pairing will be justified. They haven’t explicitly stated the obvious age gap between the two characters but it’s so obvious in the way they act and interact.
She seems like a brat who needs constant monitoring and guidance while Kartik comes across as a mentor. I won’t say a parent but still someone who’s much more mature and experienced in life.

Her trying to be cute in front of his is not cute.
I don’t see this pair working until and unless she’s turned into Naira overnight.

The what my luck thing is 🤮 and the stupid music that plays when she ends up accidentally throwing shit at him drives me bonkers.
