Yeah, he has liked her always. She has also fely jealous whenever she has heard him talking to some girl over phone (Pakhi) subconsciously.

Yes, he did like her in GC too but he used to believe he loves Pakhi 😂😂 but he always used to be affected by Sai's smile, anger or her tears.

I can't forget the scene where he and Sai returns from the safe house and he asks her to smile. Things had become alright between them and so he thought but right after her aaba gets shot, she just jerks his hands away which he tries to keep on her shoulder to console her in the vehicle. A big u turn and he never expected things will go ugly between them again and she will again start to loathe him. She starts to act cold with him and he couldn't take it.
