Koena Mitra created a flutter in the industry as she gyrated to numbers like 'O saki saki re.' Now she's going places on the professional front and starring opposite British actor Orlando Bloom in Karna.

In the movie, Koena plays a woman blessed with supernatural powers. The actress shares her excitement with NT and also tells why she enjoys the sexy tag....

EXCITEMENT GALORE
Excited about working with Orlando, Koena says, "I am a big fan of the star. I have seen him in Pirates of the Caribbean:Dead Man's Chest and found him too good in the film. I am looking forward to working with him. It is going to be a wonderful experience." Apart from this project Koena has bagged another big banner, but chooses not to divulge much about it. For the film she has had to chop her lustrous black hair and has got them coloured chestnut. On her new look she says, "The film makers wanted me to get a South American look. So I am swimming a lot during the day to get a tan. Also, I have lost oodles of weight."

ON FACE JOBS
Koena had got a lip and a nose job done sometime back. Ask her about this and she gets miffed, "I don't give clarifications. People say a lot of things about me. There was a rumour that I had taken special treatment like Michael Jackson to become fair."
She adds, "In this glamour industry looks matter a lot. Your survival depends on your looks and how stylish you are." So has she got botox done to acquire glamorous and stylish looks? The lady clams up and refuses to comment on this.

SEXY TAG
It was Koena's sexy image and cat-like eyes that made her a favourite of film makers like Subhash Ghai, who signed her for Apna Sapna Money Money...? and Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena. Quite enjoying the sexy tag she says, "I love it when people call me a bombshell. While many women in the industry aspire to be sexy, I am naturally so. Whatever I do or wear, I know I can never look vulgar."

FRIENDS FOREVER
Koena is busy these days providing solace to her friend Tanushree Dutta, the actress who's been through a bad patch post Horn Ok Pleassss controversy. "I know Tanu for the past two years and she is going through a bad phase. I believe that people who stand by you in difficult times are your true friends. I make it a point to spend as much time with her as possible," she says.

CAREER MOVES
Now that she is getting recognition, what's gonna be her strategy? She replies sagely, "I will work with big banners only."

i have never liked this girl but now dat i c what she has done to herself i think she luked much much better before then she does now. her plastic surgeory went terribly wrong.

and yhhhh rite bout her statement on how she can never luk vulgur. what do u guyz think of the following pic? even her eyebrows r drawn on.

everything bout her is fake rite? her nails, her face, her hair, fake rings and then prob uses products 4 da arms and legs pluss the speacial editing done 2 make da pic luk better and flawless

dats wot she tried to do and luk where it got her😆😆😆

if she tries to go 4 further surgeries then the result will be even worse, like dat woman. cnt remember her name but sum woman kept getting her face done and now her eyes r soooo small. smaller den cats eyez and she even luks like a cat.

is her "chest" fake as well?? and which other actress wid the exception of rakhi and other item gorls ave had a boob job done??

i no bips has but is there any1 else? has deepika? coz i saw pics of herz from modelling dayz and she had nothing but now she has more. unless they grew naturaly coz she was still young.

I heard the Sushmita Sen got a her "chest" done. I don't know if i believe it...i never really compared her before and after pics so i don't if that is entirely true.

As far as Koena goes, she looks like a nightmare! 🤢
