MIB is probably the worst in India. Why cant we have 18+ rated content on television like other countries. Are we kids ? Do you think by regulating television content you are doing a favour on us ? Well no. You would have done a favour if you had banned the masala shows genre from India instead. You would have done a favour on us if you had restricted episode limits of every fiction to 200 episodes. You are basically nothing but a useless group of people.

As part of the new guidelines, the OTT platforms will have to classify the content into five age based categories- U (Universal), U/A 7+, U/A 13+, U/A 16+, and A (Adult). Platforms would be required to implement parental locks for content classified as U/A 13+ or higher, and reliable age verification mechanisms for content classified as “A”.

Undoubtedly 90s shows were very modern and progressive. Today's television is regressive due to rating system, viewers choice and stupid ph. Otherwise in 90s every show had its own flavour. But as they say history repeat itself. Its time for 90s progressive ITV to come back. Ph like cinevistaas, beyond dreams, parin multimedia, 4lions(good characterization plz), 24frames, gurudev bhalla dhaval films, LSD, lost boy(not crap class of 2017), VB pictures, writer galaxy should do more and more content now

Even Triangle Films, Pensinsula, Hats Off and Edit 2 and even Contiloe. They also make good shows which I talked many times earlier. I was about to write Writer's Galaxy but I saw you mention it. Arvind Babbal was fine but he too now making idiotic content like Katti Batti and Yeshu.

Also one more reason is that those times the TV was not in everyone's homes. But it does not mean only high class people watch shows. Middle class too watched though their numbers were less in comparison. Then Ekta Kapoor came and ruined everything in 2000 aur nateeja ab tak hai.

Remember a girl by username FlauntPessimism in IB and DBO forum. In 2017, she told people in forum that people blame TRP aunties but they had progressive shows. She made me realise that more than oldies its teen and youth are at faults. Though the people in social media are only 5% of actual viewers but those 5% are only a part of such teens and youths who watch such shows but not all are on social media. I doubt oldies will enjoy watching that gunda ML harassing widow FL in Mehndi but its teen and youth who mostly watch that show. It was her who told me about Idhar Udhar show of 1985 which I was unaware before. I watched it few episodes which looks like its made in 2015 not 1985. I never seen an old show where married woman wore heavy sarees, loads of jewelleries with pallu on head. They dressed in normal clothes like casual western clothes or simple sarees(like our moms wear at home). Some did had episodes above 200 and a couple of them crossed 500 but they were rare. Now even if makers plan finite episode shows these immature viewers on social media demand to not end the show and does stupid trends due to which the shows eventually gets ruined beyond repair. I want an archive channel for all channel groups like there was DD Archive. The channels should be Star Archive, Zee Archive, Sony Archive where all shows would be telecast. Old means shows before 2004 not after that which is shown on channels like Star Utsav, Zee Anmol, Sony Pal, Colors Rishtey. Then if people watch those channels then they realize what they lost and will demand such shows back.
