Hi guys I am back with another TS on our ShaKhi after seeing the latest precap. And before starting this TS I would like to thank everyone who liked and left feedbacks for my previous TS on Shakhi as it meant a lot and will encourage me to write more. Changes In The Story:
In this story Anokhi is not staying with her sister but sharing a house with two of her best friends Parth and Zoya who are her classmates.
ShaKhi TS: Understandings And Friendships
Chapter : 1
Anokhi was sitting in her class waiting for Shaurya to arrive for his lecture. She remembered yesterday’s events in the hospital and was actually feeling bad for interfering in his personal life. She understood she crossed a line when she confronted him about his behavior with Astha mam when she didn’t know anything about her Astha mam as a mother. Her Astha mam may be a good person and a great professor to her, but it doesn’t mean she was a perfect mother to shaurya. Maybe from shaurya’s perspective Astha deserved his harsh words and behaviour for the injustice she has done to him. Anokhi just acted impulsively yesterday in the hospital as she was still worried for Astha who is like a seconds mother to her and seeing Shaurya behaving badly with her in her vulnerable state angered Anokhi and she confronted Shaurya out of pure concern for her mam. But once she reached home and thought about everything after cooling down, she called Shaan sir and requested him to tell her what happened between Astha, shaan and Shaurya which turned Shuarya against his own mother. Once shaan explained everything she understood Shauraya was just the victim of a lonely and painful childhood who was heartbroken because of his broken family. And if anyone is to be blamed for the hatred he has for Astha, it is none than Astha and shaan. It was true that Astha was helpless when she left Shaurya to take care of her parents and she didn’t really have a choice back then, but shaurya was too young to understand all this and even Astha didn’t try her best make the kid understand her situation before taking the decision of leaving him behind. And shaan who should have supported Astha and helped Shaurya to understand the situation failed miserably as both husband and a father by getting addicted to alcohol and in the end shaurya suffered the most because of the mistakes his parents did. She loves Astha mam and respects Shaan sir for being humble and good people, but at the same time she cannot deny that both of them caused deep wounds in shaurya’s heart which is still fresh and hurting him. She just prayed all the misunderstandings between the three will get cleared and they will try to live as a family soon. Anokhi also decided to apologize to shaurya for acting like a child yesterday by throwing tantrums outside the hospital. She remembered how shaurya handled her like she is a petulant child and face palmed in embarrassment.
‘You are such as impulsive idiot sometimes Anokhi. You better apologize to him soon’ Anokhi thought and saw kitty entering the class alone with a dull face. Kitty who saw Anokhi looking at her started to walk towards her with hesitation.
‘Anokhi can I sit with you today ? Bebo went for a picnic with her friends and I can’t even sit with Anmol anymore’ Kitty asked with a lot of hesitation and Anokhi was really surprised by this. Seeing the girl’s dull face she decided to let her sit and moved aside making enough space for Kitty to sit.
‘Sure Kitty you can sit here’ Anokhi said and kitty sat on the bench with a smile.
‘Thanks Anokhi. And I am really sorry for ragging you and for whatever Anmol did. I know it will be hard for you believe this but I felt really bad after seeing the kind of questions media asked to you that day. If possible please forgive me and I promise I will make sure Bebo or Anmol will not trouble you further in the future’ Kitty said and Anokhi can clearly see the guilt in her eyes.
‘I already forgave you three. I just wanted you guys to realise your mistakes and if you are really sorry for what you did then that is enough.’ Anokhi said with a smile placing her hand on Kitty’s shoulders.
‘Thanks a lot for understanding Anokhi.’ Kitty said with a smile but it didn’t reach her eyes and it looked still dull.
‘Is there any problem kitty? You look quiet dull. You can share it with me if you don’t mind’ Anokhi asked with concern.
‘I am just worried about bhaiya’ Kitty said .
‘You mean Shuarya sir? But what happened?’ Anokhi asked.
‘Today is his birthday and he denied celebrating it like every year. You know Anokhi every year on mine and Bebo’s birthday he will arranged grant parties to make up happy and gift us whatever we want. But when it comes to his birthday he will treat it as a normal day and he will spend the whole day alone if it falls on weekend. It feels really bad to see him like it’ Kitty said and Anokhi started to feel bad for Shaurya.
‘But why kitty? There must be a reason for him being like this right?’ Anokhi asked
‘It’s bit personal Anokhi. I don’t think bhaiya will like it if I share it with you’ Kitty said.
‘It’s okay. I understand. But I am sure everything will be fine soon. Everything will not change overnight, but I am sure shaurya sir will be fine soon’ Anokhi said with a comforting smile.
‘I hope so. I just want to see bhaiya happy.’ Kitty said and both the girls got quiet as shaurya entered the class.
During the whole lecture shaurya behaved normally and even appreciated her when she answered his questions correctly. Anokhi really thought he will ignore her completely today after the stunt she pulled yesterday, but his normal behaviour confused her.
‘I can never understand him’ Anokhi thought and decided to somehow make him happy today. After few minutes a perfect plan formed in her mind and she decided execute it with the help of her two besties.

Anokhi was sitting on a bench in the parking of SIAC waiting for Shaurya to arrive. It was already 9.30 in the night and she is sure if everything goes according to her plan shaurya will celebrate his birthday today. After few minutes she saw Shaurya walking towards his car and started executing her plan. She immediately called Parth and started talking in a loud tone so that shaurya could hear her turning her back towards him.
‘I know it’s not safe for me to travel till your restaurant in these late hours Parth. But I will manage somehow. There is no one in this huge college to even help me now you know. I can’t even book a cab as they are not accepting a long ride at the night. So I have to take the bus. And if something happens to me please ask my mother to give all my jewels to zoya and transfer the properties in my name to yours’ Anokhi said in a dramatic tone and Parth who was listening to this started to laugh.
‘Yaar nikki I think you are going overboard with you acting. I am sure shaurya sir will conclude you are insane if you continue this and admit you in a mental asylum soon’ Parth said laughing and Anokhi pouted hearing this.
‘Just shut up. Let me do my acting here and you prepare everything before we reach there.’ Anokhi whispered.
‘Fine. Whatever you say nikki’ Parth said and the next moment she felt shaurya behind her.
‘Miss. Bhalla what are you doing in the campus till now?’ Shaurya asked after hearing her dialogues when he came near his car. Anokhi took a breath disconnecting the call and became determined to make her plan work
‘Come on nikki you can do it. It’s time to unleash your inner Sri Devi’ Anokhi muttered and turned to face shaurya.
‘Good evening sir’ Anokhi said with a smile.
‘Actually it’s almost time to say good night not good evening. So what are you doing here this late?’ Shuarya asked in a no nonsense tone.
‘Actually sir I got bit busy in the library taking notes. I have to reach my friend’s restaurant and I can’t book a cab too as the restaurant is in the outskirts of the town. So I am planning to take a bus and waiting for the bus here as it is not safe to wait in the bus stop now’ Anokhi said
‘But isn’t it unsafe to take a bus at this hour?’Shaurya asked with a frown looking at his wrist watch.
‘I know it’s not safe sir. But what else option this poor girl have now. Don’t worry sir I will somehow manage. At least my mother’s prayers are with me to keep me safe if not a safe travel option’ Anokhi said and almost wiped an imaginary tears but controlled at the last moment.
‘Control kar yaar nikki. If the Akdu finds out you are acting then you have to face his anger professor avatar again’ Anokhi thought and gave shaurya her famous puppy eyes.
Shuarya on the other hand sighed and rolled his eyes seeing her dramatics and wondered where she learned to be this overdramatic like a 80s actress. But he decided to give her a lift as it was pretty late and didn’t want her to get into any trouble.
‘Miss Bhalla please stop your antics and get in the car. I will drop you in the restaurant’ Shaurya said and Anokhi did a victory dance in her mind .
‘Are you sure it won’t be a problem for your sir? I mean I don’t was to cause you any trouble’ Anokhi said giving him the most innocent she could muster.
‘Miss. Bhalla stop giving me these innocent looks as I know you are a complete trouble maker and get in the car. I have to go back home after dropping you so don’t waste my time’ Shaurya said and Anokhi pouted hearing him calling her a trouble maker.
‘Did you just call me trouble maker sir?’ Anokhi asked him with a glare and shaurya controlled himself from smiling as she looked like angry lab puppy with her glare.
‘Don’t act so surprised Miss. Bhalla. It’s a fact and you only caused me trouble from the moment I met you. So get in the car and let go’Shaurya said and entered the car before Anokhi could start another drama.Anokhi just glared at him and stomped her foot in anger.
‘Akdu. Here I am trying to surprise him on his birthday and he is calling me trouble maker. So unfair’ Anokhi muttered and sat on the passenger seat.
Once she got comfortable after wearing her seat belt Shaurya started driving to the restaurant in complete silence. After few minutes Anokhi started to feel restless as she hated silence and decided to apologise to shaurya.
‘Sir Can I say something? Anokhi said looking at Shaurya.
‘Are you going to keep quiet I say no? I was actually surprised you kept quiet this long Miss. Bhalla. So what are you going to say now? Give me a lecture about how to be better teacher or how to behave with your favorite professor?’ Shaurya said looking at the road and Anokhi felt actually bad after he mentioned Astha.
‘Who sir actually I wanted to apologize’ Anokhi said and Shaurya looked at her immediately feeling the sadness in her tone. He was actually pulling her legs and expected her to start another debate with him. But now looking at her, he can clearly see she took his words seriously.
‘Apologize for what Miss. Bhalla?’ Shaurya asked in a soft tone.
‘For jumping into conclusion yesterday regarding your behaviour with Astha mam and behaving like a child. I acted impulsively yesterday after seeing Astha mam in pain. She is one of the best people I have seen in my life and she literally treats me like her own daughter sir. So I was unable to tolerate her getting insulted. But then after talking with shaan sir I came to know the whole story and understood just because she is a good person doesn’t mean she was a perfect mother. Maybe she did hurt you and broke your relationship beyond repair and I have no right to interfere in the matter unless other I know the complete truth. So sir I want to apologize for all those things I said yesterday as I don’t know anything about Astha mam as a mother’ Anokhi said and Shaurya who was listening to all this immediately stopped the car. The next moment he opened the door and got out as it started to become hard to control his emotions hearing such understanding words from Anokhi. Once he came out he leaned on the hood and closed his eyes taking deep breaths. Anokhi on the other hand sat in the car to give him some space. After couple of minutes she got down and stood beside him placing her hand on his shoulder.
‘Sir are you alright? I am sorry if I made you upset again. I just wanted to apologize’ Anokhi said and shaurya looked at her removing his face from his hands.
‘I am not upset Miss. Bhalla. But I am quite surprised to see you apologizing to me instead of supporting my dad and Miss. Astha after taking with my dad and hearing the entire story’ Shaurya said after realising his father was actually talking to Anokhi last night on the phone sitting in the garden.
‘shaan sir explained everything to me. But after knowing the whole story I understood your behavior is justified sir. I still don’t agree with the way you behaved with mam yesterday as she just came out of coma and she was vulnerable. But now I understand your anger and it was justified after everything you faced in your childhood and the scares you still carry with you from the wounds your lonely childhood caused. It is true Astha mam and Shaan sir are good people and I still love and respect them. Sometimes even the great people who treat the world with kindness fail when it comes to their personal relationships like as a mother, father, sister, brother, son and daughter. And likewise both of them failed as a parent to a large extend. Maybe they were helpless and they have their own reasons to justify the decisions they made. But they can never justify the pain and loneliness they put you through. If Astha mam made the mistake of leaving you then shaan sir never fulfilled the responsibilities of a father as he was never there for you in the childhood. I can understand he was heartbroken and was in pain, but that will never justified how he ignored you. You were just a kid who saw his family crumbling down, his mother leaving him and his father ignoring him all at once and I can’t even imagine the pain you must have felt. So I understand you anger and pain sir. Even yesterday you only expressed the pain you felt and the injustice done to you in the form of anger and I can see it clearly now. That’s why I want to apologize if my words ending up causing you any pain yesterday and for interfering in your personal life.’ Anokhi said and shaurya just looked at her in stunned silence as her words comforted him in a way no one ever did. Even his own father was unable to understand his pain and never tried to understand why he hates his mother so much. Everyone around him only saw his anger but none saw the pain and scares he hides behind it. But this girl who entered his life recently already understood his feelings without even saying. Shaurya felt his eyes burning with tears and this time he let it flow as it became impossible for him to conceal his emotions seeing the understanding her beautiful held. All his life this is what he wanted from his father. He just wanted his father to understand his pain and be there for him. Understand his anger and try to understand the reason behind it even if Astha had proper reason for what she did. But everyone in his family either tried to keep him away from Astha or tried to make him understand Astha was good. But no one tried to make him understand what actually happened and what made a mother to leave her child when he was young. And now seeing Anokhi being that one person whom he searched for his entire life he didn’t know what to do. But the next moment he did something which he wanted to do desperately from the moment his happily came crumbling down in front of his eyes. He hugged her. He hugged her tight and let couple of tears falls. Anokhi just stood perplexed the moment he hugged her she never expected this reaction out of him when she planned to apologize. But when she felt his tears on her back after few seconds she understood he just wanted some comfort and hugged him back with slight hesitation. Though Anokhi was little bit uncomfortable in the beginning she remembered how he comforted her when she got locked in the classroom and decided to comfort him this time. Both of them stood in each other’s arms silently on the empty road as the cold wind of the night caressed them with shaurya seeking her comfort. After few minutes Shaurya broke the hug gently and wiped his tears as Anokhi placed a comforting hand on his back.
‘Thank you Anokhi. Thank you for understanding’ Shaurya said and Anokhi just gave him a smile.
‘It’s alright sir.’ Anokhi said and she shivered a bit because of the cold wind. Shaurya seeing this realized where they are standing and mentally face palmed himself for being irresponsible about her safety and having a emotional breaking on a empty road which is not safe for Anokhi.
‘Get in the car. It’s not safe for you to be alone here.’ Shaurya said and waited still Anokhi sat inside the car. Then he sat on the driver’s seat and started driving the car once again to reach the restaurant. Though Shaurya remained silent the whole ride Anokhi felt happy after seeing the genuine smile he gave him once he got inside the car and understood he forgave her for whatever she did yesterday.
‘Thanks a lot for making my plan A successful mata Rani. Please just make sure plan B in the restaurant will also be successful’ Anokhi prayed and hoped he will like the surprised she planned in the restaurant with the help of parth and Zoya.
