Ayushmann Khurana is like 70s amol palekar his movies have a uniqueness that other stars movies do not have though hes not a great actor avergae one but great movie scripts

Only Rajkumar rao can compete with ayshmann in this unique space semi art movies kind

Ranbir kapoor is over rated yes he acts better than most now but brooding and sad face does not mean acting, his dialogue delivery has no variation, he has no great voice like a amitabh too to make audience feel for his dialogues. But he will survive another 10-20 years because of kapoor tag. Its like this after 80s the actors that have come are al avergae exception one or two. Just because ranbir acts better hes not great. Compare him to ab, dilip kumar he falls flat of face super stars of their times. He cannot do comedy not convincing in action only lover boy and brooding does not make an actor. Hes survived thanks to his affairs and break ups making headlines. He also knows his career would have ended if he had not used his gfs to stay in news from 16 years hes good at pr unlike ayushmann and ranveer added advantage of kapoor tag

Ranveer singh is next one. RS can act better than most but his clown act outside makes others not take him serious as a actor. Yes he goes overtop sometimes like khilji role. but ranbir or ayushmann or hrithik his main competitors can never do khilji or bajirao like him convincingly.

Regarding RS being successful because of deepika thats a joke. Both in bajiroa and padmavat audience praised ranveer not deepika or other actors. Credit for success goes to RS not deepika in both. Yes and music and cinematorgaphy thats SLB.

With worst story writing and no proper execution like all SLB movies RS carried movies on his shoulder and made them the huge hits single handedly. If music and cinematorgaphy could make movie success than hrithik, ranbir and srk could have made devdas and sawariya and guzaarish also hit because they also had half baked scripts like bajiroa and padmavaat. But its only RS that made them those huge hits. RS in like amitabh bachchan give him right role he will outshine everyone in frame no matter how much bigger they are than him

Definetly deepika very poor actress benefited from SLB and ranveer singh in 3 movies too. Specially bajirao and padmavaat side actors outshined deepika like malik kafur, meherunissa, kashi bai, bajirao mother etc . I would say deepika has only 10% hand in success of these movies 50% RS and 20% SLB 10% music 10% cinematography and locations

Yes SLB has big hand in deepika and ranveer becoming super star. But Ranveer singh has given SLB the success salman and srk or amitabh bachchancould not give him for 15 years thats truth. Its his ability to get into skin of role and become that character i historical roles especially. RS is like sohrab modi or prithviraj kapoor hes born to play historical characters his personality suits those roles. imagine ranbir, ayushman, srk, salman, amitabh, anil kapoor as kings or emperors can you they all flopped r shall flop bec they do not suit that personality

I'm almost tempted to root for Tiger Shroff. At least his fans don't claim him to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

How DO you count those? Netflix and Amazon don't give out views, do they?

@Bold No. Padmavati was a ridiculous movie, but it worked because of the same SLB-DP-RS combo.

@Red. No. He, like everyone else, has had help. He debuted with YRF, for God's sake. You could prob say Ayushman or Rajkumar Rao came this far *mostly* on their own, not Ranveer. And that is all right. It would be idiotic to say no to offered help.

@Blue. In all 3, SLB films, she was the bigger star. Given the male dominance of BW, he will no doubt be bigger going forward, but there is no question DP had more pull as a star thus far. As a combo, they have more star power than the sum of the two of them. That is the reason producers pay mightily to have her do the cameos in 83 and Cirkus rather than paying a relative unknown 1/100th as much.

@Green. Gullyboy was a decent movie. It would've worked with any A-lister actor, not just RS.

- You've got ur own reality and you say it same conviction as I did. I watched padmavathi for my own reasons and thats the reality for me. Deepika track was boring for me ... whatever little that there is.

- Did i say he had no help ? See my response to specific comment , Deepika was not hand holding him to success...like u said he debuted with YRF and was hired before deepika was for Ram-Leela. I dont get what ur point is here?

Actually a lot of movies would have worked with any A list actor let alone Ranveer or even Deepika. Bigger star... Chapaak is not even one of the biggest opening among the actresses . Show me something tangiable .

I only confronted OP on Ranveer's success is all Deepika's blessing. All ur points dont work for me ...Gullyboy might be decent movie for you...for me it sucked big time...my mind is unchanged. I liked Padmavathi better. We just dont agree with each other...thats all there is.

OK. How is this for something tangible? Lootera opened to 5.15 crores. Perfect looking lead couple, fab music, period movie. Not much higher than DP's acid attack movie.

That still puts the duo in diff league than Ayushman...above or below . Then why even compare ? Ayushman has many releases in last few years than Ranveer-Ranbir...thats due to scale of the movies they do. Also, Ranveer's last flop was Befikre. He has mostly been delivering...Ranbir's flops are very high budget bad movies.

I did not say Ayushman is not doing well...they are just not playing the same game. There is nothing I said that is untrue ... to agree or disagree with.

RK/RS's high budgets also mean they can't deliver hits even with all that money. Ayushman delivers with much less.

The Ran-s simply do the PR game better. And also, the dating game.

Audience votes with their collective wallet. That vote says Ayushman is a bigger pull in terms of box office. That is math, not a matter of opinion.

It might change with Luv Ranjan/Sandeep Reddy movies, 83, and Cirkus. But as of now, AK is ahead.

that was pre stardom. Before Bajirao or even Ram Leela. you are comparing that with CHaapak after Deepika attaining so called super stardom after Bajirao, padmavat, Ram leela.

Lootera attained glory after its gone from theatres. Did it even have the publicity of Chaapak. Chaapak made waves since its announcement. Lootera came and went no one noticed.

Why did u compare chappak and Lootera ? why not with Befikre which is flop (opened to 10.36 crores after Bajirao )and Simmba ? How is it even tangiable ?
