tbh if it was naksh who behaved like that it will be understandable since he loved naira a lot and supported her with everything. And after naira death leap kirti also said he was depressed so it would make sense. But not gayu.

Gayu needs help. She is guilt ridden, in grief, without husband’s support and handling an infant Vatsal and Vansh and also sometimes Akshu. It’s too much for someone not in their right frame of mind.

Instead of using her as a spokesperson for Kaira/Kairat and for taunts against Riya, they should get her some therapy.
