@-RD- nothing in the precap happened. No slap, no manhandling, no temple visit.

But the story did move forward an inch and introduced new intrigue.

Summary for 18th Feb Episode.

Pallavi is initially upset over the loss but then the maratha pride rises in her and she goes to complain to police about Raghav's atrocity. Police is familiar with her because she apparently has an open case about her husband's mysterious death. She suspects foul play in that death and Police is tired of hearing about it from her. But they take her complain about Raghav. When Pallu comes home her aai reminds her of upcoming engagement for (forgot name of character) and they have to do shopping and asks Pallu to wear her "gold plated" saree that she bought for the reception. Pallu gets the idea to take the gold out of the saree and sell it for money she needs for the engagement shopping and raw material.

Raghav comes home with the tharki lady and then calls her fiance home to show him what a cheat she is.

Next day, Pallu is harassed at the shop by the owner of the property for not paying rent. She asks for time but he gives her two days. So she decides its more important to pay rent than shopping for the engagement gift. But the police officer goes to Raghav and he pays him off to lie to Pallu about the car number and person she accused.

That is all I remember from the epi. Then there was a repeat of the precaps shown before but with additional bits where Pallu goes to Raghav's shop and tries to hide from him but bumps into him and they both get into some kind of cage

Raghav exaggerates a lot I don't know, but he's not impressive at all.

They keep showing the same precap for the whole week. Why can't they show just the next day's episode as precap. Even other shows does the same thing!!

I started watching Mehndi hain rachne waali when I got to know that it’s Sandip’s show and since I was a die heart fan of KHKT so it took me no time to give this show a shot

Liking the story so far but I think Sandip has learned from past and is dragging the storyline as much as he can

Feb 19th

Pallavi is on her way to sell the gold from the saree when she bumps into a kid who was running away. She helps him gather his stuff and then notices that he is injured. She asks him how he got hurt and he points to Raghav beating up the old man. She goes to check what the ruckus is about and finds Raghav beating up an old man. She asks someone recording the video why he is beating the man and he responds that he doesn't know. Pallavi is outraged and stops Raghav and slaps him. She tells him that she knew a guy like him would only do such actions. She again taunts him about his family being ashamed of him and thinks that he beat up the kid and the old man. She walks away from him with the kid but Raghav is about to go after her when Kirti's mother stops him (I think she is his mother too).

She tells him to stop his action and a few more choice words. She tells him that he will always remain alone due to his gundagardi (gives me vibes of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan Story). She tells him that his mother would wish that he would have died in the womb.

Pallavi brings the kid back to her home and explains to her ayi baba. Her chachi comes there and creates a scene about Pallavi bringing home a kachre wala's son. Pallavi gives her a lecture on how household garbage is turned into fertilizer for the plants and that gives nutritious food...but that human beings should not be discriminated against. Pallavi then realizes that she lost her gold threads wala dabba somewhere on the street when she bumped into the kid. She goes back to search for it but doesn't find it.

Raghav meanwhile is having a terrible day. His car breaks down on his way and while he is waiting for a mechanic and Farhaan (I think that's the assistant's name) to send a new car...Pallavi's chachu sees him on the street. He had also witnessed Raghav getting slapped but didn't know it was Pallavi who did it. He offers Raghav a lift and then talks to him about how all wives treat their husbands the same and he knows he got beaten by his wife. 😉 Raghav gets irritated and tells him she is not his wife and then chachu assumes that its his girlfriend. Raghav gets angry and gets off the car. Chachu has a funny dialog that RR has sadma after the incident as he thinks no one can touch him even after he clearly got slapped.

Later Pallu comes home dejected. She shows some outfits that she stitched to the family and chachi's daughter #2 creates a scene that she doesn't like the outfit. Chachi also makes a face at what Pallu brought. Aayi and chachi's daughter#1 appreciate it and they do a mini fashion show. Then Aayi reminds Pallu about jewelry shopping and Pallu worries how she will arrange for rent and shopping. Then Chachu reminds her that she needed to go to some aunty's house to select designs.

Raghav at home is brooding about the slap when his assistant comes and talks to him about the customs folks giving hard time to their people and that they'll have to find new people to get around that problem. But Raghav is super obsessed with the slap and tells the assistant to cancel all meetings.

Pallu is walking on the street at night probably going to get the designs when she is followed by a car. She runs and then the car goes away. But just as she breathes a relief RR is in front of her. He gets out of the car and she starts walking backwards scared of him. He taunts her that she is so brave then why she is scared. He backs her up by the pole and grabs her hand and tells her to slap him since she likes slapping people. Aggressive ...Pallu baby is scared for her life.

End of epi.

Promo: Mandir wala scene repeat, the one where she comes to his shop and then a new one where RR comes to her shop and tears up some sarees. Then a scene where I think pallu's father will get to hear from the shop owner that the rent has not been paid.

-----My thoughts-----

I think RR was saving that kid from his own father. The old man probably was beating the child and RR came to the rescue but Pallu is the classic balaji FL who must play judge and executioner without knowing the full story. However, I think this FL and ML are made for each other as RR too has a single minded focus on his hurt ego at being slapped and "mardangi pe lalkar". I have to say that while I like the good looking actors and their chemistry it only goes so far to keep me interested in a show. If they keep showing regressive crap I will drop out soon.
