Fantastic End to Valentines Day

Where do I even begin with today's episode?

I loved it on all accounts and it's definitely a must-watch.

Let's begin with Aditya. Ladka jal ke raakh ho gaya🤣 He even openly admitted that he felt bad that she took Sundar's name for his gift

And Imlie...gosh if I loved her before, I love her a thousand times more now. The way she spoke with Aditya in such a calm and composed tone, trying to get him to understand why she lied. And Aditya was genuinely confused as to why she had to lie...the man really thought that Malini would understand and be okay with her husband gifting another woman a RED salwar suit on Valentine's day🤣. And I guess valentine's day is an important occasion in the Tripathi family based on their elaborate decorations and planning...but the man really thought that Malini wouldn't care...should I laugh or cry at this🤣? Has he really known her for 7 years because I'm having difficulty believing that😆

The way Imlie then told him that he's a man and so he would never understand how a woman's heart works. Spot on. Aditya is a real bailbuddhi 🤣

But the scene that was most impactful for me was between Imlie and Rupi di. Both women are experiencing the same heartbreak, but dealing with it in such different ways. Where Rupali was going to go to extent of killing herself, Imlie says "koi humse pyaar nahi karta hai toh na kare, kabhi na kare...hum apne aap se itna pyaar karenge ke jeene ki waja dhundh lenge". 👏 Truly one of the best dialogues and scenes..must watch for every single woman out there... While Imlie is hurt to some degree seeing Aditya's closeness with Malini, she understands that there is more to life than him...than love. She has her ambitions and her own identity and her outlook is that...if Aditya doesn't love me, then so be it. It is what it is.

And this indifferent attitude of hers is what will lure aditya towards her more and more

Based on the precap, Malini goes and tells Aditya that she found the receipt for the dress in their room. I am guessing she feels guilty for getting suspicious about Aditya and so she will apologize to him. She will tell him that she got very upset and angry seeing that receipt and later Sundar told her that it was he who dropped it in their room. At that point Aditya will realize that Imlie was absolutely right. Had she not lied about the gift, Malini would have definitely created a ruckus.... Hopefully he will go have a conversation with Imlie afterwards and thank her

He should also wonder whether he even knows Malini at all...if after 7 years he still doesn't know that she would be bothered by this kind of thing...this further proves that he doesn't love Malini...she's probably his best friend and that's about it. Arre bhai, Aditya is feeling so hurt that Imlie said the gift was from Sundar..but kehne ko toh he has no feelings for her...but SOMEHOW he thinks that Malini, his wife, should be fine with him giving a gift ON VALENTINES day to another girl... good joke🤣

I doubt Aditya will think Imlie was right. He will most probably find fault with that lie and think “see she made me lie to Malini indirectly”. If he does, I will call it progress but that has been hibernating in him for a while 😃

Shaanth Imlie with Aditya was awesome. Mature Imlie with Rupali was fantastic. This is a good show. Just a little too slow right now

But also...on some degree he'll be thankful that a major disaster/confrontation with Malini was averted😆

Don't know if he'll admit it to Imlie or not, but at the very least, he'll think to himself (I hope) that Imlie was better able to gauge/understand Malini than he was able to😆

Even for the 100th episode, I think the progress will be on Nishant’s condition probably. Aditya has a loooooong way to go 😆

I also want adi to realise that imlie did the right thing by not disclosing his name. Otherwise, malini would be super hurt with him. 💔 I hope he talks to imlie later and says he understood what she meant earlier. 😛 A light conversation should happen. Also a little self realisation on adi's side about his seven years old relationship with malini. Do she even understand him?? 🤓

Anyways, the episode was average for me except for a few scenes. Imlie with her love speech. Omg, Sumbul is a powerhouse of talent, man. She says heavy dialogues effortlessly. Loving imlie even more now. You go girl

I don't think Malini is at all insecure type. If anything she's extremely secure in her marriage and her husband knows that. There are innumerable canon evidence to that.

A insecure woman wouldn't invite a young girl inside their room on their wedding night ,nor would she wrap her husband's wedding night shawl around her to keep her warm. No insecure woman would send her husband away with Imlie the way Aditya took her to Pagdandiya alone. Anu tried to send her after him and she firmly put her down saying she won't go after her husband like that. She found Aditya hugging Imlie from behind in the bed and laughed merrily knowing well Aditya is incapable of doing this knowingly. She firmly shot down Anu once again when she sent her the bike ride video clip and in fact it was her who sent Aditya to pick up Imlie.

For once I whole heartedly agree with Aditya that this lie was completely unnecessary and it was in fact an insult that she did to him and his wife by this lie as if it was needed at all. Malini wouldn't have minded in the least bit if she'd found out in the 1st place. It's the hiding that makes it wrong. So if Aditya gives Rupali or Nidhi a red saree on the V day does that mean he's having other kind of feelings for them ?? Day doesn't matter , relationship does. Imlie is part of the family and Aditya's conscience is very clear about where she stands in his life. Which is exactly why he can causally gift her one on this day .

By lying she forced him to lie to Moon once again. If she really thought Moon would have minded , she could have said that to Aditya and returned the gift ,asking him to give it by Moon's hand and make sure to include Malini from the next time. See ?? There is always a very simple and clean way of doing things, if you only want to do it in a clean and proper way. But no , this girl has to play chori chori chupke chupke with Babusaheb and also be mahaan savior complex at the same time. Now she's even included Sundar in it. What a mess! Just imagine if Sundar finds out it was given by Aditya now , he'll promptly think why'd Imlie hide it and lie to the family in the 1st place ?? What a false position and restriction she placed on Aditya once again. No wonder he remains so frustrated with her most of the times. She gave a different twist to a simple heartfelt genuine gesture of human kindness.

I want to ask Imlie, would you have hidden the truth if it was given to her by Nishant?? She'd laugh with joy and show the gift to everyone in the family and they'd have laughed with joy alongside her . Then why not do the same with Aditya's gift ?? Every one including Malini would have been overjoyed that Aditya's attitude towards Imlie is changing since they were mad at him for always treating him so badly. Malini included. She's protected Imlie from Aditya's wrath since day 1 and begged him time and again to change his attitude and behavior towards Imlie. Did she mind in the least bit when Aditya brought a kurta for Imlie without telling her that first time?? Not at all.

He's not upset that she took Sundar's name, he's eyes for his wife only and even a blind can see that and so can the Tripathis but he was upset as he was right to do ,that by doing so she once again made him a liar in front of his wife and family something that is his biggest torture as he's said to Imlie many a times it keeps him awake at night and tortures his soul.

Even Malini was upset only at the lie - not at Adi's gift giving. Imlie is clearly wrong here as she was in interfering with Adi and Malini's fight with a poem to make up. I hated that one too. Victim trying to be Mahaan - something very pathetic and sad about it.

One line in today's episode I found telling was - what God gave her right a man took it away...if she perceives Adi this way and everything else she said to Rupi di was true - she needs to stop looking for attention or affection from BS asap. Leave the man to be happy with the wife he claims to love and live your life.

The thing with life and motivational speeches is , they are all fine and dandy as long as you're giving them to others. Hathi ke daant dikhane ke alag aur chabane ke alag. Her words were powerful but they will only be impactful for the viewers if she follows through them isn't it. Literally every time Aditya is being gushy romantic with Moon , Imlie makes this pathetic sad face , some times with a typical sad looser type intolerable aaaaaa bg music to drive home the point that she's hurt or sad. What happens to self love at that time ?? Exercise that on yourself first , girl ! Because any advice is easier said than done.

She's doing absolutely nothing to take her life forward even one inch in any direction ( at this point I'd give her brownie points if she enrolls in a home science and cooking class ! Drawing at a straw and all .)

and she's advising Rupi who's at least doing a job and taking care of her daughter as a single mom ,okay.

I'm shocked to see there are people who actually tries to justify this gross transgression from Imlie's part. She should apologize to Aditya for making him lie to his wife again. Who gave her the right ?? She keeps doing these things , because really what else is there to her life ?? Two househelps for the house where everyone does a lot of chores themselves anyways ,and she's no other purpose or goal or world or friend circle or anything. Khali dimaag shaitan ka ghar aise hi nehi kehete..

I think because of her age and lack of education, she probably finds it very romantic to have a hidden connection or secret shared between her and her Babusaheb, like she made this whole thing into a secret. It likely gives her a romantic thrill , whereas it comes at a cost to Aditya who gets tormented once again that she broke his trust once again.

Malini would have praised Aditya ,she's a pure soul , she is transparent. She likes transparency. If it came out in the beginning itself she'd not minded in the least. She was upset that Aditya lied to her about the gift , not about the gift itself. In fact she was probably upset kore about the fact that Aditya didn't trust her to be okay with it.

Aditya knows this, he knows his wife which is why he was sitting in his room crippled with guilt and remorse once again.

I think this would teach him a lesson not to give her anything without running it through Moon beforehand.

Adi is not blameless here either - after so many reminders from Moon - why give Imli a dress only from him. If he loves his wife as much as he tries to project - he should consider themselves an unit and take Malini's feedback regarding her wanting to be involved with him in caring for Imlie to heart. He who has never bought anything on his own for Malini goes to a store and presents it to Imlie - only from him. Both are wrong. But instead of correcting Adi's mistake - Imlie expounds on it.

I considered that Imlie may have interpreted Adi's gift as a response to what she asked him earlier - what am i to you now?...and seen his gift as a token of his love and affection however misplaced that may be...hence her need to hide the gift. During their dialogue she realized Adi was claiming he was doing it more out of pity. She was hurt - when she repeated his words - 'anyone'? like she was no one special but just about anyone. It is good - she kept her composure and spoke calmly - I loved it.

I'm hoping today is a turning point for her. The way she stood up for herself and did not get agitated about his feedback - this composure and independence may take their relationship to the next step...unless makers decide to make her comic relief again. :(

Forgot to add - today she made it clear - she was taking a stand for herself as well. So far it has always been what Adi wants - today for the first time - Imlie said twice she did not want anyone perceiving her as wrong - thereby exercising her right to make a decision to involve Sundar. She told him twice to go back upstairs and not to fret about the situation since they were both on the same page :)
