There was a Firangi Channel in 2008 from Sahara Network that would show South American, North American, Korean and European shows and movies. I I only watched 1 show on that channel. Then after a year suddenly all these were stopped and only cartoons like Shin Chan or Teleshopping programmes were shown. I would wo der why it stopped these shows and movies. May be GRPs issue. I don't know wheyhwr tat channel is even there now or not.

Why can't they act in multiple shows at a time like rest of the cast who have close to equal screen space with lead actors? Well another rule that should be changed is this one lead couple for every show. Why cannot we have 5-6 or 7-8 main characters like international shows. For core romantic dramas it can be 1 lead couple but in every other show only 1 lead couple is very irritating. Like if you see Ishqbaaaz was a 3 leads show which was forced to turn into an only one couple show which was pretty unfair. Though in the final montage all the three couples were given space but until then it was only about one couple. Similarly Yeh rishtey hai pyaar ke had 2 main leads then why only 1 couple was in focus. These things create too much of jealousy between fandoms of multiple couple shows. Scripts should be written in such a way that nobody gets to know that who is playing main lead and who is playing supporting lead. And also why main characters have to be couples why cannot they be friends or family members. Like Humkadam is going to be a show on two female leads and since the beginning audience has been informed that the show's entire focus is on modern MIL DIL relationship. So that way its easy for audience's to get connected.

I came across firangi multiple times while changing channels when i was a kid. But never watched it infact i use to think its a movie channel and since childhood i am not much of a movie person thus i dont watched it. Today i am coming to know this from you that it use to air international shows so it was a premium channel. Wish such channels had been present in today's age.

This is basically not a rule but a recommendation that i want to see on every television is the episode number and season number when a show plays. I had came across many posts on quora about this issue and i feel that its a must to add this because its easy for many people to catch the show which they like, they can later watch the show on internet like this also helps a little in boosting its popularity.

And another thing that i dont know what reason has been included, seems like a new trend this subtitle thing especially few selected SP shows. Hindi shows with hindi subtitles like for what reason. English shows should be with english subtitles because its a foreign language but why do we need hindi subtitles for hindi shows instead it should be english subtitles for hindi shows because it helps of majority international audience to understand whats the content is about. Like i can never think of watching a Kdrama with korean subtitles LMAO.

Actually Gul tried to give screen space to 3 couples equally but ShivIka fans would protest and whine saying ShivIka getting less scenes. They would say ShivIka are main couple and other are parallel leads. So she brought DBO. I thought RiKara fans are wise but they proved me wrong. When Rudra love story started with Bhavya with RuVya getting equal or sometimes more scenes than RiKara they started getting unhappy and protesting. After that DBO got merged with IB due to low ratings. Then too Gul tried to show 3 couples equally but ShivIka fans would protest and call the show as Groupbaaaz and 3 leads scenes as group scenes. It's because of these fans Gul could not treat 3 couples equally though she tried several times. It's true I don't like Gul shows and hate the way she demean her own gender but here I agree that she actually tried. I think Colors Swabhimaan is the last show where 2 couples were focussed equally. Or in some other show too after that.

You may have come across the channel in 2009 or 2010. If you can across in 2008 you would seen those content.

Oh i can understand the condition of Gul because Ib had run time of only 22 mins and its tough to show three leads equally but it was a 5 days a week show then here the fault is neither of Gul nor fans but the scriptwriters. He/She should have been more sensible here in writing the scenes like many family scenes were unnecessary, i watched so i know. And i feel Ib was beautiful in the beginning due to the groupbaazi only alongwith the three couples and their romance the day since it became more Shivika centric they started bringing nonsense tracks. In this while even Shivika got ruined and at the end nobody got anything. 😗

Even Saathiya 1 had 2 leads but for audience Saathiya means Gopi Rashi and their husbands. Not justifying the shit content but couple scenes were written and directed well. Thus it was multiple lead show for a long time.

Saathiya 2 🌚, SAAKK, Ghum, YHC etc etc.

Here too i will blame the channel. They air a show five to six days a week ( my goodness previously it was daily ) this become a habit and at the end audience get so connected to the show that they feel it watch it more. But Jinn had a very chance of ending with a first season, it was Starplus who was greedy of ratings and didnt ended it on time. Atleast starplus could have promised the audience for a second season with the story continuation but they gave it two extensions. As a result the show that use to get 2.9 ratings ended with 1.3 ratings. This 'a hit/superhit/blockbuster show will to have too run until its gets flop' rule that is running since years have to be stopped now.
